أكّد رئيس الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) الدكتور عبدالله شرف الغامدي أن السعودية، وبتوجيهات من ولي العهد تقود جهودًا دولية متقدمة لتعزيز حوكمة الذكاء الاصطناعي، وضمان الاستخدام المسؤول والآمن لهذه التقنيات بما يخدم البشرية ويسهم في سدّ الفجوة الرقمية بين دول العالم.
جاء ذلك خلال لقائه المدير العام لمنظمة العمل الدولية جيلبرت ف. هونغبو، ونائب رئيس البنك الدولي للتقنية والذكاء الاصطناعي سانغبو كيم، والوزير الاتحادي للتحول الرقمي في جمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية الدكتور كارستن فيلبرغر، وذلك على هامش أعمال الحوار العالمي لحوكمة الذكاء الاصطناعي المنعقد في سويسرا.
وبحثت اللقاءات سبل تعزيز التعاون الدولي في مجالات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي، واستعراض الآليات الكفيلة برسم أطر واضحة لحوكمة التقنيات الناشئة، وضمان تبنيها بشكل أخلاقي ومسؤول يدعم تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة، ويحدّ من المخاطر المستقبلية على المجتمعات وسوق العمل العالمي.
واستعرض الغامدي، خلال اللقاءات مبادرات المملكة في دعم الحوكمة والاستخدام الأخلاقي للذكاء الاصطناعي، وفي مقدمتها تأسيس المركز الدولي لأبحاث وأخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي (ICAIRE) برعاية منظمة اليونسكو في الرياض، ليكون منصة عالمية لتطوير الأبحاث والسياسات الأخلاقية للتقنيات المتقدمة. وأوضح أن المملكة تنظر إلى الذكاء الاصطناعي بوصفه ممكنًا إستراتيجيًا للتنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية ومحركًا للإنتاجية والابتكار، وتدعم الجهات في تبني هذه التقنيات عبر توجيهات واضحة وأدوات لإدارة المخاطر وتقييمات للنضج وآليات للمساءلة تعزز الثقة وتتيح المجال لتوسع الابتكار.
وفي ختام اللقاءات، دعا الغامدي القيادات الدولية إلى حضور المنتدى العالمي الرابع لأخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي الذي تنظمه «سدايا» بالتعاون مع منظمة اليونسكو ومركز ICAIRE الدولي في الرياض خلال الفترة من 14 إلى 17 سبتمبر 2026، ضمن فعاليات عام الذكاء الاصطناعي الذي تحتفي به المملكة هذا العام.
The President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Dr. Abdullah Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, confirmed that Saudi Arabia, under the guidance of the Crown Prince, is leading advanced international efforts to enhance the governance of artificial intelligence and ensure the responsible and safe use of these technologies in a way that serves humanity and contributes to bridging the digital divide between countries around the world.
This came during his meeting with the Director-General of the International Labour Organization, Gilbert F. Hongbo, the Vice President of the World Bank for Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Sangbo Kim, and the Federal Minister for Digital Transformation of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Karsten Vilbrger, on the sidelines of the Global Dialogue on AI Governance held in Switzerland.
The meetings discussed ways to enhance international cooperation in the fields of data and artificial intelligence, reviewing mechanisms to establish clear frameworks for governing emerging technologies, ensuring their ethical and responsible adoption that supports the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and mitigating future risks to societies and the global labor market.
During the meetings, Al-Ghamdi showcased the Kingdom's initiatives in supporting the governance and ethical use of artificial intelligence, foremost among them the establishment of the International Center for Research and Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (ICAIRE) under the auspices of UNESCO in Riyadh, to serve as a global platform for developing research and ethical policies for advanced technologies. He explained that the Kingdom views artificial intelligence as a strategic enabler for economic and social development and a driver of productivity and innovation, supporting entities in adopting these technologies through clear directives, risk management tools, maturity assessments, and accountability mechanisms that enhance trust and allow for the expansion of innovation.
At the conclusion of the meetings, Al-Ghamdi invited international leaders to attend the Fourth Global Forum on Artificial Intelligence Ethics, organized by SDAIA in collaboration with UNESCO and the ICAIRE International Center in Riyadh from September 14 to 17, 2026, as part of the events of the Year of Artificial Intelligence that the Kingdom is celebrating this year.
