أعلنت كلية فقيه للعلوم الطبية عن حصول برنامج بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة (MBBS) على جائزة (ASPIRE-to-Excellence) في مسار تطوير المناهج الدراسية لعام 2026م، والتي تمنحها الجمعية العالمية للتعليم الطبي في أوروبا (AMEE)، وتُعد من أرفع الجوائز الدولية في مجال التعليم الطبي.
ويُعد هذا الإنجاز الأول من نوعه لبرنامج بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة في المملكة العربية السعودية ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، كما يجعل الكلية المؤسسة الأكاديمية السابعة على مستوى العالم التي تحصل على هذا التقدير الرفيع المتميز في مجال تطوير مناهج الطب والجراحة.
وقد أشادت اللجنة الدولية لجائزة (ASPIRE) بالرحلة التطويرية المتميزة للكلية، مؤكدةً أن برنامج بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة بالكلية يتمتع بإستراتيجية تعليمية متكاملة، ومنهج مترابط، وتعرّض سريري مبكر، وأساليب تعلّم حديثة تتمحور حول الطالب، ومنظومة متقدمة للتقويم وضمان الجودة، إضافة إلى تنامي ثقافة البحث العلمي في التعليم الطبي.
وبهذا الإنجاز الدولي الرفيع تنضم كلية فقيه للعلوم الطبية إلى الشبكة العالمية لأكاديمية (ASPIRE) للتميز في التعليم الطبي، لتصبح إحدى المؤسسات الأكاديمية المرجعية التي يُحتذى ويعتد بها عالمياً في تطوير المناهج الطبية. ولقد ثَمَّن مجلس أمناء الكلية هذا الإنجاز الوطني العظيم.
وقال الدكتور مازن فقيه، رئيس مجلس أمناء كلية فقيه للعلوم الطبية: «يمثل هذا الإنجاز محطة مهمة ومميزة في مسيرة الكلية ونفخر بها وتعكس رؤيتنا في بناء بيئة تعليمية متقدمة تُسهم في إعداد كوادر طبية مؤهلة تمتلك المعرفة والمهارات والقيم المهنية اللازمة لمواكبة احتياجات القطاع الصحي. ونعتز بأن يكون هذا التقدير الدولي دافعًا لمواصلة الاستثمار في جودة التعليم الطبي والبحث والابتكار».
بينما أكد الأستاذ الدكتور محمد صالح عرضاوي، عميد الكلية، أن هذا الإنجاز يمثل فخرًا وطنيًا للمملكة العربية السعودية، ويجسد التزام الكلية المستمر بالتميز الأكاديمي والابتكار وإعداد أطباء المستقبل وفق أعلى المعايير التعليمية والتدريبية العالمية.
ويعزز هذا الإنجاز الدولي مكانة المملكة على الساحة العالمية في مجال التعليم الطبي، ويدعم مستهدفات رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030 في بناء منظومة تعليمية وصحية رائدة عالمياً.
The Faqih College of Medical Sciences has announced that its Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program has received the (ASPIRE-to-Excellence) award in the curriculum development pathway for the year 2026, which is granted by the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), and is considered one of the highest international awards in the field of medical education.
This achievement is the first of its kind for the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North Africa region, making the college the seventh academic institution worldwide to receive this distinguished recognition in the field of medical and surgical curriculum development.
The international committee for the (ASPIRE) award praised the college's outstanding developmental journey, confirming that the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program at the college enjoys a comprehensive educational strategy, an integrated curriculum, early clinical exposure, modern student-centered learning methods, and an advanced system for evaluation and quality assurance, in addition to the growing culture of scientific research in medical education.
With this prestigious international achievement, Faqih College of Medical Sciences joins the global network of the (ASPIRE) Academy for Excellence in Medical Education, becoming one of the reference academic institutions that are globally recognized and emulated in the development of medical curricula. The college's Board of Trustees has valued this significant national achievement.
