حذّرت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني من خطورة غياب أجهزة كاشف الدخان في المباني السكنية والتجارية، مؤكدة أن وجودها يعد عنصرًا أساسيًا للسلامة العامة وحماية الأرواح والممتلكات.
وأوضحت، أن أجهزة كاشف الدخان تُعد خط الدفاع الأول ضد الحرائق، إذ تعمل على اكتشاف الدخان مبكرًا وإطلاق إنذارات صوتية عالية تُوقظ النائمين وتنبّه الموجودين داخل الموقع، ما يتيح سرعة تحديد مصدر الدخان والتعامل معه قبل تفاقم الخطر. ودعت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني إلى طلب المساعدة في الحالات الطارئة.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has warned about the dangers of the absence of smoke detectors in residential and commercial buildings, emphasizing that their presence is a fundamental element for public safety and the protection of lives and property.
It clarified that smoke detectors are the first line of defense against fires, as they work to detect smoke early and emit loud alarms that wake sleepers and alert those present in the area, allowing for quick identification of the smoke source and addressing it before the danger escalates. The General Directorate of Civil Defense urged seeking assistance in emergency situations.
