تشهد منطقة جازان تجربة زراعة الشاي الأزرق «زهرة الكلاتوريا»، الذي يُعد من المنتجات الواعدة في المناطق الجبلية من خلال مشروع تتبناه هيئة تطوير وتعمير المناطق الجبلية، التي أوضحت سعيها إلى تعزيز الزراعة المستدامة في المنطقة الجبلية بجازان؛ وتنويع مصادر الدخل في القطاع الزراعي، إلى جانب تشجيع المزارعين على التوسع في الزراعات النوعية، والاستفادة من المقومات الزراعية التي تزخر بها المنطقة.
وبيّنت الهيئة، أن الشاي الأزرق يُعد من المنتجات الطبيعية التي تتميز بخصائص غذائيةٍ عالية، إلى جانب نكهته الفريدة، ولونه الطبيعي الجذاب، فضلاً عن خلوّه من الكافيين، واحتوائه على مضادات أكسدة قوية، مما عزّز حضوره ضمن المنتجات ذات القيمة الغذائية، وأسهم في تنامي الاهتمام به بوصفه أحد المنتجات الزراعية الواعدة ذات القيمة المضافة.
The Jazan region is witnessing the cultivation of blue tea "Kleatouria flower," which is considered one of the promising products in mountainous areas through a project adopted by the Mountainous Areas Development and Reconstruction Authority. The authority has clarified its efforts to enhance sustainable agriculture in the mountainous region of Jazan; diversify income sources in the agricultural sector, alongside encouraging farmers to expand into quality crops and benefit from the agricultural resources that the region is rich in.
The authority indicated that blue tea is one of the natural products characterized by high nutritional properties, in addition to its unique flavor, attractive natural color, as well as being caffeine-free and containing strong antioxidants. This has enhanced its presence among products with nutritional value and contributed to the growing interest in it as one of the promising agricultural products with added value.
