كشف الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم البديوي، أن دول المجلس تعرضت خلال 45 يوماً إلى نحو 7 آلاف هجوم من إيران، وشدد في الوقت ذاته على أن مجلس التعاون قوة إستراتيجية عالمية تُبنى فيها نماذج التنمية والأمن والاستقرار.
وأوضح، خلال كلمته الافتتاحية في ملتقى المكتسبات الخليجية الذي عُقد أمس (الإثنين) بمقر الأمانة العامة لمجلس التعاون في العاصمة الرياض، أن الهدف من الملتقى يتمثل في تعزيز التعريف بالمكتسبات الخليجية، في ظل الجهود الكبيرة التي انعكست بشكل مباشر على جودة حياة المواطن الخليجي، وأسهمت في تعزيز مكانة مجلس التعاون إقليمياً ودولياً.
وذهب في حديثه إلى إنجاز 95 % من مشروع الترابط المروري بين دول مجلس التعاون، لافتاً إلى تبني إستراتيجية خليجية خاصة بمكافحة غسل الأموال، إضافة إلى وجود تنسيق أمني رفيع بين وزراء الداخلية لتوحيد إستراتيجية مكافحة المخدرات.
وأشار إلى ما تحقق من منجزات نوعية في مجالات التكامل السياسي، والتعاون العسكري والأمني، والاقتصاد، والبنية التحتية، والتحول الرقمي، والتعليم، والصحة، والإعلام، والربط الكهربائي، والأمن الغذائي.
وأوضح البديوي، أن المرحلة القادمة تتطلب مضاعفة الجهود الخليجية المشتركة وتعزيز التكامل في مختلف المجالات، وبناء اقتصاد خليجي قادر على المنافسة عالمياً.
100 % نسبة إنجاز المسارات العشرة
من جانبه، أكد الأمين العام المساعد للشؤون الاقتصادية بمجلس التعاون الدكتور عبد العزيز العويشق، أن السوق الخليجية المشتركة قطعت شوطاً متقدماً، إذ تم إنجاز مساراتها العشرة بنسبة 100 %، إلى جانب استمرار العمل في مشاريع الاتحاد الجمركي والتكامل الاقتصادي.
وقال: إن من أبرز المكتسبات الخليجية تفعيل القيادة العسكرية الموحدة، التي تضم القيادة البحرية في المنامة، والمركز الجوي الموحد في الرياض، وقوات «درع الجزيرة» في حفر الباطن، إضافة إلى تعزيز اتفاقية الدفاع المشترك التي تعتبر أي اعتداء على دولة خليجية اعتداءً على جميع دول المجلس.
وأكد العويشق، وجود تنسيق وتكامل في مجال التصنيع العسكري الخليجي، مع العمل للوصول إلى منظومة دفاع جوي مشتركة، إلى جانب قرب إطلاق منظومة إنذار مبكر لمواجهة التهديدات.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, revealed that the member states have faced approximately 7,000 attacks from Iran over the past 45 days. He emphasized that the Gulf Cooperation Council is a global strategic force where models of development, security, and stability are built.
During his opening speech at the Gulf Achievements Forum held yesterday (Monday) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council in the capital, Riyadh, he explained that the aim of the forum is to enhance awareness of Gulf achievements, in light of the significant efforts that have directly reflected on the quality of life for Gulf citizens and contributed to enhancing the position of the Council regionally and internationally.
He mentioned that 95% of the traffic connectivity project among the Gulf Cooperation Council countries has been completed, noting the adoption of a Gulf strategy specifically for combating money laundering, in addition to high-level security coordination among interior ministers to unify the drug combat strategy.
He pointed to the qualitative achievements in the fields of political integration, military and security cooperation, economy, infrastructure, digital transformation, education, health, media, electrical interconnection, and food security.
Al-Budaiwi clarified that the upcoming phase requires doubling joint Gulf efforts and enhancing integration in various fields, as well as building a Gulf economy capable of competing globally.
100% Completion Rate of the Ten Tracks
For his part, the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs at the Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Owaisheq, confirmed that the common Gulf market has made significant progress, with the ten tracks completed at a rate of 100%, alongside ongoing work on customs union projects and economic integration.
He stated that one of the most notable Gulf achievements is the activation of the unified military command, which includes the naval command in Manama, the unified air center in Riyadh, and the "Peninsula Shield" forces in Hafr Al-Batin, in addition to strengthening the joint defense agreement, which considers any aggression against a Gulf state as aggression against all member states.
Al-Owaisheq confirmed the existence of coordination and integration in the field of Gulf military manufacturing, with efforts underway to reach a joint air defense system, along with the imminent launch of an early warning system to address threats.
