أجرى وزير الداخلية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، اتصالاً هاتفياً، أمس (الثلاثاء)، بوزير الداخلية قائد قوة الأمن الداخلي بدولة قطر الشيخ خليفة بن حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني.
وجرى خلال الاتصال مناقشة مستجدات الأوضاع في المنطقة، وما تشهده من تطورات أمنية، في ظل الاعتداءات الإيرانية الغاشمة التي تستهدف دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية والمنطقة.
وأكد الجانبان متانة الروابط الأخوية بين البلدين الشقيقين، وحرصهما على مواصلة تطوير التنسيق والتعاون المشترك، بما يسهم في ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، وضمان سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين.
كما أكد وزير الداخلية وقوف المملكة العربية السعودية إلى جانب دولة قطر الشقيقة، ودعمها لكل ما تتخذه من إجراءات للحفاظ على أمنها واستقرارها.
The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, made a phone call yesterday (Tuesday) to the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
During the call, they discussed the latest developments in the region and the security changes occurring amid the brutal Iranian attacks targeting the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the region.
Both sides affirmed the strong fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries and their commitment to continue developing coordination and joint cooperation, which contributes to establishing security and stability in the region and ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
The Minister of Interior also confirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's support for the sisterly State of Qatar and its backing for all measures it takes to maintain its security and stability.
