سجلت المنافذ الجمركية البرية والبحرية والجوية 663 حالة ضبط للممنوعات، وشملت الأصناف المضبوطة 34 صنفاً من المواد المخدرة، مثل الحشيش، والكوكايين، والهيروين، والشبو، وحبوب الكبتاغون وغيرها، إضافةً إلى 251 من المواد المحظورة، كما شهدت المنافذ الجمركية إحباط تهريب 1355 كيلوغراماً من التبغ ومشتقاته، إلى جانب 13 صنفاً لمبالغ مالية.
وأكدت هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك (زاتكا)، أنها ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، تحقيقاً لأمن المجتمع وحمايته، بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع جميع شركائها من الجهات ذات العلاقة.
ودعت (زاتكا) الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، من خلال التواصل معها على أن تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The land, sea, and air customs ports recorded 663 cases of confiscation of prohibited items, including 34 types of narcotic substances such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, shabu, Captagon pills, and others, in addition to 251 types of banned materials. The customs ports also thwarted the smuggling of 1,355 kilograms of tobacco and its derivatives, along with 13 types of cash amounts.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) confirmed that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the imports and exports of the Kingdom, in order to ensure community security and protection, in continuous cooperation and coordination with all its partners from relevant authorities.
ZATCA called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect the community and the national economy, by contacting it so that the authority can receive reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the Unified Customs System in complete confidentiality, with a financial reward for the informant if the information provided is accurate.
