أعلن وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد المشرف العام على المسابقات القرآنية المحلية والدولية الشيخ الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ رفع إجمالي جوائز المسابقة المحلية على جائزة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود لحفظ القرآن الكريم وتلاوته وتفسيره إلى 9 ملايين ريال، وعدد الفائزين في فروعها الستة ليكون 5 فائزين بالمراكز الأولى بدلًا من 3 فائزين، ابتداءً من الدورة القادمة الثامنة والعشرين، امتدادًا للدعم الكريم الذي تحظى به المسابقة من القيادة وعنايتها المتواصلة بكتاب الله وأهله.
وأكد آل الشيخ أن هذه الخطوة تأتي تعزيزًا لمكانة المسابقة بوصفها مشروعًا وطنيًا رائدًا في خدمة القرآن الكريم، وتحفيزًا لأبناء وبنات الوطن على الإقبال على حفظ كتاب الله وإتقان تلاوته وفهم معانيه، مشيرًا إلى أن المسابقة شهدت خلال دوراتها الماضية تطورًا ملحوظًا في مستويات المشاركة والتنظيم والتحكيم.
وأوضح آل الشيخ أن رفع قيمة الجوائز يعكس الحرص على توسيع دائرة التنافس الإيجابي، واستقطاب مزيد من الموهوبين في الحفظ والتلاوة والتفسير من مختلف مناطق المملكة، بما يسهم في إعداد جيلٍ معتزٍ بدينه، متمسك بكتاب ربه، مستنيرٍ بهديه، ومحافظٍ على ثوابت الوطن وقيمه الراسخة.
وأشار إلى أن الوزارة تعمل على تطوير منظومة المسابقة في جوانبها التنظيمية والإعلامية والتقنية، بما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، ويعزز حضور المسابقة محليًا ودوليًا، ويُبرز ريادة المملكة في رعاية المسابقات القرآنية الكبرى.
ورفع آل الشيخ الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ولولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود على دعمهما الكريم ورعايتهما الكريمة لكل ما يخدم القرآن الكريم ويعزز مكانته في نفوس أبناء الأمة.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and the General Supervisor of Local and International Quranic Competitions, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, announced the increase of the total prizes for the local competition for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Award for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran to 9 million riyals. The number of winners in its six categories will be 5 winners for the top positions instead of 3 winners, starting from the upcoming 28th session, continuing the generous support that the competition receives from the leadership and its ongoing care for the Book of God and its people.
Al Sheikh confirmed that this step comes to enhance the status of the competition as a pioneering national project in the service of the Holy Quran, and to encourage the sons and daughters of the nation to engage in memorizing the Book of God, mastering its recitation, and understanding its meanings. He pointed out that the competition has witnessed a noticeable development in participation levels, organization, and judging during its past sessions.
Al Sheikh explained that raising the prize value reflects the commitment to expanding the circle of positive competition and attracting more talented individuals in memorization, recitation, and interpretation from various regions of the Kingdom, contributing to the preparation of a generation proud of its religion, adhering to the Book of its Lord, enlightened by its guidance, and preserving the constants and deep-rooted values of the nation.
He indicated that the ministry is working on developing the competition system in its organizational, media, and technical aspects, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, enhancing the presence of the competition locally and internationally, and highlighting the Kingdom's leadership in sponsoring major Quranic competitions.
Al Sheikh expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for their generous support and care for everything that serves the Holy Quran and enhances its status in the hearts of the nation's children.
