أصدرت وزارة السياحة اليوم (الخميس)، قراراً وزارياً يقضي بإيقاف استقبال طلبات رفع الطاقة الاستيعابية لمرافق الضيافة السياحية، وإيقاف استقبال طلبات الترخيص لمرافق الضيافة السياحية من نوع (النزل) المخصصة للعمل خلال موسم الحج 1447ه، وذلك في كلٍّ من مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وأكدت الوزارة أن هذا القرار يأتي استكمالًا للقرارات الوزارية السابقة التي أتاحت استقبال طلبات مرافق الضيافة السياحية الراغبة في رفع طاقتها الاستيعابية من حيث عدد الأسرة، إضافة إلى استقبال طلبات مالكي العقارات الراغبين في الحصول على تراخيص مرافق من نوع (النزل) المخصصة للعمل خلال موسم الحج في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أنها تهدف من هذه القرارات النوعية إلى دعم جاهزية مرافق الضيافة لاستقبال ضيوف الرحمن، وتنويع خيارات الإقامة بما يلبي احتياجاتهم، وفق أطر تنظيمية واضحة ومحددة.
وفي هذا السياق، جدّدت الوزارة تأكيدها على أن هاتين الخدمتين لا تتيحان للمرافق المستفيدة تفعيلهما بزيادة الطاقة الاستيعابية أو تشغيل النزل المؤقتة خارج موسم الحج، مؤكدة حرصها على تنظيم القطاع والأنشطة خلال مواسم الذروة، وضمان سلامة الزوار، ورفع مستوى جودة الخدمات المقدمة في مرافق الضيافة.
The Ministry of Tourism issued a ministerial decision today (Thursday) to halt the acceptance of requests to increase the capacity of tourism hospitality facilities and to stop receiving licensing requests for hospitality facilities of the type (lodges) designated to operate during the Hajj season 1447 AH, in both Mecca and Medina.
The ministry confirmed that this decision comes as a continuation of previous ministerial decisions that allowed the acceptance of requests from tourism hospitality facilities wishing to increase their capacity in terms of the number of beds, in addition to receiving requests from property owners wishing to obtain licenses for facilities of the type (lodges) designated to operate during the Hajj season in Mecca and Medina.
The ministry pointed out that its aim with these qualitative decisions is to support the readiness of hospitality facilities to receive the guests of الرحمن, and to diversify accommodation options to meet their needs, according to clear and specific regulatory frameworks.
In this context, the ministry reiterated that these two services do not allow the benefiting facilities to activate them by increasing capacity or operating temporary lodges outside the Hajj season, emphasizing its commitment to organizing the sector and activities during peak seasons, ensuring the safety of visitors, and raising the quality of services provided in hospitality facilities.
