تواصل المملكة العربية السعودية ترسيخ مكانتها في العمل الإنساني الدولي وتجسيد قيم العطاء والتضامن الإنساني من خلال جهودها الإغاثية، حيث قدّمت منذ نشأتها وحتى اليوم مساعدات إنسانية وتنموية وخيرية تجاوزت 142 مليار دولار، ونفّذت 8,457 مشروعاً في 173 دولة حول العالم.
وجاء إنشاء مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية في 13 مايو 2015 ليحمل رسالة إنسانية تقوم على مبادئ الشفافية والحياد والاحترافية، حيث نفّذ منذ تأسيسه 3,911 مشروعاً إنسانياً وإغاثياً في 109 دول، بقيمة تجاوزت 8 مليارات و255 مليون دولار، ولم يقتصر دور المركز على تقديم المساعدات العاجلة فحسب، بل امتد ليشمل تمكين المتضررين وتعزيز قدرتهم على تجاوز آثار الأزمات، لترسم مبادراته مشاهد إنسانية تعكس الدور الريادي للمملكة، وتؤكد مكانتها بوصفها قوة إنسانية مؤثرة يتجاوز صداها حدود الجغرافيا.

ويواصل المركز جهوده لإغاثة المتضررين من الأزمات في العديد من الدول، من بينها فلسطين وسورية واليمن والسودان، عبر تقديم المساعدات الغذائية والطبية والإيوائية، ودعم القطاعات الحيوية، بما يسهم في التخفيف من معاناتهم.
ومن بين أبرز الإنجازات الإنسانية التي تميزت بها المملكة البرنامج السعودي لفصل التوائم الملتصقة، الذي بدأ في عام 1990، وأثبت تميزه إقليمياً وعالمياً، من خلال إجرائه 67 عملية جراحية دقيقة، ودراسة 152 حالة من 28 دولة في 5 قارات حول العالم، دون تحميل المرضى أو أسرهم أي تكاليف.

وتشارك المملكة، ممثلة بمركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، دول العالم الاحتفاء باليوم العالمي للتضامن الإنساني، الذي يوافق 20 ديسمبر من كل عام، تأكيداً لرسالتها الثابتة في تعزيز قيم التضامن الإنساني، وترسيخ روح التكاتف بين الشعوب، والإسهام في تخفيف معاناة المتضررين والمحتاجين أينما كانوا، ليبقى العطاء السعودي شاهداً حياً على حرص المملكة على دعم الإنسان وصون كرامته.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to solidify its position in international humanitarian work and embody the values of giving and human solidarity through its relief efforts. Since its inception until today, it has provided humanitarian, developmental, and charitable assistance exceeding 142 billion dollars, and implemented 8,457 projects in 173 countries around the world.
The establishment of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on May 13, 2015, carries a humanitarian message based on the principles of transparency, neutrality, and professionalism. Since its founding, it has implemented 3,911 humanitarian and relief projects in 109 countries, with a value exceeding 8 billion and 255 million dollars. The center's role has not been limited to providing urgent assistance; it has also extended to empowering the affected and enhancing their ability to overcome the impacts of crises, painting humanitarian scenes that reflect the Kingdom's pioneering role and affirming its position as an influential humanitarian force that transcends geographical boundaries.

The center continues its efforts to assist those affected by crises in many countries, including Palestine, Syria, Yemen, and Sudan, by providing food, medical, and shelter assistance, and supporting vital sectors, contributing to alleviating their suffering.
Among the most notable humanitarian achievements distinguished by the Kingdom is the Saudi program for the separation of conjoined twins, which began in 1990 and has proven its excellence regionally and globally by conducting 67 precise surgical operations and studying 152 cases from 28 countries across 5 continents around the world, without imposing any costs on the patients or their families.

The Saudi giving remains a living testament to the Kingdom's commitment to supporting humanity and preserving its dignity.
