مركز «وقاء» بنجران يعقد اجتماعاً لمكافحة نواقل الأمراض في بحيرة بئر عسكر

The National Center for the Prevention of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases and their Control, "Waqaa," in the Najran region, held a coordination meeting with relevant authorities to discuss the mechanisms for combating disease vectors in the Bir Askar Lake in the Najran region, as part of efforts to enhance preventive measures and protect public health.

Representatives from several government agencies in the region participated in the meeting, including the Emirate of the region, the Civil Defense, the Public Health Authority "Waqaa," the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, and the General Irrigation Authority.

During the meeting, ways to achieve integration and joint coordination were discussed, roles and responsibilities were defined, and necessary plans were established to reduce the spread of disease vectors and enhance public health.

This meeting is part of the efforts of the Waqaa Center branch to strengthen cooperation among government entities and intensify preventive measures to contribute to maintaining safety and public health in the region.
