تمضي السعودية في تحوّلها الرقمي بخطوات متسارعة لبناء مستقبل وأفق جديد قائم على المعرفة والابتكار، عماده توفير خدمات ذكية تصل للمستفيد بخطوة واحدة، حقّقت بها أحد مستهدفات الرؤية السعودية لترسّخ المملكة موقعها كواحدة من أبرز القوى الاقتصادية الرقمية الصاعدة على مستوى العالم بعدما نجحت في فترة قصيرة في ضخ استثمارات غير مسبوقة في البنية التحتية لقطاع الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات.
وتقود هيئة الحكومة الرقمية، وهيئة البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) أكبر عملية لتوحيد جهود الرقمنة واستثمار البيانات الضخمة؛ ما ساعد في تسريع التحوّل الرقمي وتعزيز موقع المملكة في المؤشرات الدولية، خصوصاً في تحسين جودة الحياة عبر المدن الذكية والنقل المتصل والخدمات، مع إنشاء قواعد وخطط واضحة للتعامل مع التحديات لضمان استمرار مسيرة التحول، مع توسع مفاهيم الذكاء الاصطناعي واستخداماته.
وجاء تتويج السعودية بالمركز الأول عالمياً في مسابقة الذكاء الاصطناعي العالمية للشباب WAICY 2025، بعد تحقيقها 26 جائزة في المسابقة تأكيداً على ما وصلت إليه المملكة من تقدّم في علوم المستقبل ومواءمتها للعالم الرقمي الجديد في القضايا التي تمس مستقبل الإنسان، وللمضي في رحلة المستقبل حرصت المملكة على التوسع في ثقافة الذكاء الاصطناعي وتعميمها في المناهج التعليمية، وتخصيص مسارات لها في الابتعاث والتوظيف والتدريب لبناء جيل مواكب للابتكار والابداع.
Saudi Arabia is advancing in its digital transformation with rapid steps to build a new future and horizon based on knowledge and innovation, primarily through providing smart services that reach beneficiaries in one step. This has achieved one of the targets of the Saudi Vision, solidifying the Kingdom's position as one of the leading emerging digital economic powers globally, after successfully injecting unprecedented investments into the infrastructure of the telecommunications and information technology sector in a short period.
The Digital Government Authority and the Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) are leading the largest effort to unify digitization efforts and invest in big data; this has helped accelerate digital transformation and enhance the Kingdom's position in international indicators, especially in improving the quality of life through smart cities, connected transportation, and services, while establishing clear frameworks and plans to address challenges to ensure the continuity of the transformation journey, alongside the expansion of concepts and applications of artificial intelligence.
Saudi Arabia's achievement of first place globally in the World Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth WAICY 2025, after winning 26 awards in the competition, confirms the progress the Kingdom has made in future sciences and its alignment with the new digital world on issues affecting humanity's future. To continue on this journey into the future, the Kingdom is keen to expand the culture of artificial intelligence and integrate it into educational curricula, as well as allocate pathways for scholarships, employment, and training to build a generation that keeps pace with innovation and creativity.
