شارك وزير الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات المهندس عبدالله بن عامر السواحه أمس، في الفعالية الرقمية المصاحبة للاجتماع رفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، المعني بمراجعة تنفيذ نتائج القمة العالمية لمجتمع المعلومات (WSIS).

والتقى خلال المشاركة بالأمين العام للاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات دورين بوجدان، وعددٍ من الوزراء، وكبار المسؤولين، وقيادات الاقتصاد الرقمي؛ بهدف تعزيز التعاون الدولي في مجالات الشمول الرقمي، وتسريع التحول الرقمي، وبناء القدرات في عصر الذكاء الاصطناعي.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, participated yesterday in the digital event accompanying the high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, which is concerned with reviewing the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
Capacity Building
During his participation, he met with the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union, Doreen Bogdan, along with several ministers, senior officials, and leaders in the digital economy; aiming to enhance international cooperation in the areas of digital inclusion, accelerate digital transformation, and build capacities in the age of artificial intelligence.
