The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed today (Thursday) that it has continued to engage effectively with key parties to support efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote dialogue in the region, urging all parties to exercise the utmost restraint.

The ministry stated that it will continue to encourage everyone to end violence and resume technical talks despite the challenges of the memorandum of understanding, emphasizing that the memorandum in Islamabad remains a solid framework for enhancing peace and mutual respect.

At the same time, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance accused officials in the Israeli government of being behind a propaganda campaign to influence American public opinion regarding the Iran war and undermine negotiations to end the conflict.

Vance said in his interview with the famous American podcast host Joe Rogan: "There are people within their system, and we are completely certain, manipulating American public opinion and trying to change it to keep the war going indefinitely. Not to achieve any goal, but just to continue indefinitely."

Meanwhile, the Indian Maritime Administration raised the security alert level in the Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the surrounding waters, urging ship owners to avoid employing Indian sailors on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Data from the maritime platform Kepler indicated that navigation through the Strait of Hormuz remains very limited with the renewed U.S. strikes on Iran, noting that only 13 commercial vessels crossed "Hormuz" yesterday, with one of them using the southern route near the Omani coast.

On the ground, Iranian media reported that loud explosions were heard in the port of Bandar Abbas in the south of the country.
