وفي عروض نيويورك، ظهرت الأهداب على فساتين غير متناظرة وقطع مستوحاة من الأزياء الإغريقية، كما امتدت إلى السترات والحقائب، فيما قدمها مصممون مثل Jonathan Simkhai وMonse وKallmeyer بأساليب مختلفة راوحت بين التفاصيل الناعمة والتصاميم الأكثر جرأة.
ولم يتوقف الاتجاه عند نيويورك، إذ ظهرت الأهداب والشرّابات أيضاً في عروض كوبنهاغن ولندن، واستُخدمت لإضفاء ملمس وحركة على الفساتين والتنانير والإكسسوارات، ما يؤكد تحولها من تفصيل مستوحى من أزياء السبعينات أو فساتين عشرينات القرن الماضي إلى عنصر معاصر يمكن تنسيقه بطرق أكثر بساطة.
ويمكن اعتماد الأهداب في الإطلالة اليومية من خلال حقيبة أو تنورة بتفاصيل محدودة، بينما تمنح الفساتين المزينة بها حضوراً أكثر لفتاً في المناسبات والسهرات، خصوصاً مع الحركة التي تضيفها إلى التصميم.
