بدأت في العاصمة الأردنية عمان اليوم، فعاليات ملتقى الأعمال السعودي الأردني، بتنظيم اتحاد الغرف السعودية وغرفة تجارة الأردن، ومشاركة أكثر من (250) من المستثمرين وممثلي القطاعات والجهات الحكومية والخاصة من البلدين؛ بهدف بناء رؤية اقتصادية مشتركة.
وشارك في أعمال الملتقى وفد المملكة برئاسة رئيس اتحاد الغرف السعودية حسن بن معجب الحويزي، إلى جانب نخبة من كبار رجال الأعمال والمستثمرين وممثلين عن وزارات الاقتصاد والتخطيط، والصناعة والثروة المعدنية، والاستثمار، والهيئة العامة للتجارة الخارجية.
وأكد وزير الصناعة والتجارة والتموين الأردني المهندس يعرب القضاة خلال افتتاحه أعمال الملتقى أهمية بناء علاقات تكامل اقتصادي صناعي بين المملكة والأردن، وأن تتحول العلاقة إلى شراكات اقتصادية فعلية تحقق مصالح مشتركة للطرفين، مبينًا أن حجم التبادل التجاري يعادل تقريبًا حجم التبادل التجاري بين الأردن والولايات المتحدة، وهو ما يبرز الإمكانات الكبيرة لتعزيز التعاون بين البلدين، مشيرًا إلى أن الأردن يتمتع بموقع إستراتيجي يتيح للقطاع الخاص السعودي الاستفادة من الفرص المحيطة، داعيًا إلى التكامل التجاري والصناعي.
بدوره شدد وزير الاستثمار الأردني الدكتور طارق أبو غزالة على أهمية اللجان القطاعية المشتركة في تسهيل الأعمال وتحفيز الاستثمار، منوهًا بالفرص الاستثمارية ومجالات التعاون المشترك في قطاعات جديدة مثل التجارة الإلكترونية، لخلق فرص استثمارية نوعية وتوسيع التكامل الاقتصادي في سلاسل الإمداد والاقتصاد الأخضر.
من جانبه، نوّه رئيس اتحاد الغرف السعودية، حسن بن معجب الحويزي، بأهمية الملتقى في تحفيز المبادرات الاقتصادية وإيجاد فرص استثمارية جديدة في المنطقة، مشيرًا إلى أن الدورة الحالية للملتقى تهدف إلى إحداث نقلة نوعية في العلاقات بين القطاع الخاص السعودي والأردني، مع التركيز على المشاريع الكبرى وفرص إعادة الإعمار في سورية، وكذلك على إمكانية الاستثمار والتعاون في فلسطين، بما يوسع آفاق التجارة والاستثمار الإقليمي.
إلى ذلك قال رئيس غرفة تجارة الأردن خليل الحاج توفيق: إن الملتقى يمثل محطة جديدة على طريق تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي، ونقطة انطلاق لمرحلة جديدة من الشراكة الاقتصادية تقوم على التكامل والاستفادة من الفرص الواعدة، مشيدًا بجهود المملكة في دعم مسيرة التنمية في الأردن، من خلال استثماراتها التي تجاوزت 15 مليار دولار.
وعلى هامش الملتقى عُقد اجتماع مجلس الأعمال السعودي الأردني المشترك، برئاسة كل من المهندس عبدالرحمن حسن الثبيتي وخليل الحاج توفيق، وأوصى الاجتماع بتشكيل لجان قطاعية من أهل الاختصاص بالبلدين لتعزيز التعاون في القطاعات الاقتصادية المستهدفة وتبادل الزيارات بين الجانبين.
وتركزت المباحثات في الملتقى على تطوير الشراكة السعودية الأردنية في قطاعات رئيسية تشمل: الطاقة والسياحة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والأمن الغذائي والخدمات اللوجستية والصحة، والتعليم، والزراعة والبنية التحتية، والاقتصاد الأخضر والأمن السيبراني.
ودعت شركة المدن الصناعية الأردنية أصحاب الأعمال السعوديين للاستفادة من فرص وحوافز ومزايا الاستثمار بالمدن الصناعية بالأردن التي وصل عددها إلى 9 مدن صناعية تضم 975 شركة صناعية بحجم استثمار يزيد عن 3.5 مليار دينار، فيما كُشف عن وجود 16 استثمارًا صناعيًا سعوديًا بتلك المدن بحجم استثمار 133 مليون دينار.
يُذكر أن الملتقى شهد تقديم عروض من الجانب السعودي حول الفرص الاستثمارية في المملكة في ظل رؤية 2030، و«رحلة المستثمر» لبيان مراحل الدخول إلى السوق السعودي والدعم المؤسسي للمستثمرين، ومن الجانب الأردني جرى تقديم عروض عن المناطق الحرة والتنموية والمزايا والحوافز الاستثمارية، فضلًا عن فرص الاستثمار في مجالات التكنولوجيا والابتكار والخدمات الرقمية والقطاعات ذات الأولوية في الإستراتيجية الوطنية للاستثمار والمزايا التنافسية المتاحة للمستثمرين.
The Saudi-Jordanian Business Forum kicked off today in the Jordanian capital, Amman, organized by the Saudi Chambers Federation and the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of more than (250) investors and representatives from the sectors and governmental and private entities from both countries; aimed at building a shared economic vision.
The Saudi delegation was led by the President of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Hassan bin Mujaib Al-Huwaizi, along with a select group of prominent businessmen, investors, and representatives from the ministries of economy and planning, industry and mineral resources, investment, and the General Authority for Foreign Trade.
During the opening of the forum, Jordan's Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Engineer Ya'rob Al-Qudat, emphasized the importance of building industrial economic integration between the Kingdom and Jordan, and transforming the relationship into actual economic partnerships that achieve mutual interests for both parties. He pointed out that the volume of trade exchange is approximately equivalent to the trade exchange between Jordan and the United States, highlighting the significant potential to enhance cooperation between the two countries, noting that Jordan enjoys a strategic location that allows the Saudi private sector to benefit from surrounding opportunities, calling for commercial and industrial integration.
For his part, Jordan's Minister of Investment, Dr. Tarek Abu Ghazaleh, stressed the importance of joint sector committees in facilitating business and stimulating investment, noting the investment opportunities and areas of mutual cooperation in new sectors such as e-commerce, to create qualitative investment opportunities and expand economic integration in supply chains and the green economy.
Meanwhile, the President of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Hassan bin Mujaib Al-Huwaizi, highlighted the importance of the forum in stimulating economic initiatives and creating new investment opportunities in the region, pointing out that the current session of the forum aims to bring about a qualitative shift in relations between the Saudi and Jordanian private sectors, focusing on major projects and reconstruction opportunities in Syria, as well as the potential for investment and cooperation in Palestine, which expands the horizons of regional trade and investment.
Additionally, the President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq, stated that the forum represents a new milestone on the path to enhancing economic cooperation and a starting point for a new phase of economic partnership based on integration and benefiting from promising opportunities, praising the Kingdom's efforts in supporting the development process in Jordan through its investments that have exceeded 15 billion dollars.
On the sidelines of the forum, a meeting of the Saudi-Jordanian Joint Business Council was held, chaired by both Engineer Abdulrahman Hassan Al-Thubaiti and Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq. The meeting recommended forming sectoral committees of specialists from both countries to enhance cooperation in targeted economic sectors and exchange visits between the two sides.
The discussions at the forum focused on developing the Saudi-Jordanian partnership in key sectors including: energy, tourism, information technology, food security, logistics services, health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, the green economy, and cybersecurity.
The Jordan Industrial Cities Company invited Saudi business owners to take advantage of the opportunities, incentives, and advantages of investing in industrial cities in Jordan, which number 9 industrial cities housing 975 industrial companies with an investment volume exceeding 3.5 billion dinars, while it was revealed that there are 16 Saudi industrial investments in those cities with an investment volume of 133 million dinars.
It is worth noting that the forum witnessed presentations from the Saudi side regarding investment opportunities in the Kingdom under Vision 2030, and the "Investor Journey" to outline the stages of entering the Saudi market and the institutional support for investors. From the Jordanian side, presentations were made about free and development zones and the investment advantages and incentives, in addition to investment opportunities in technology, innovation, digital services, and priority sectors in the national investment strategy and the competitive advantages available to investors.
