أظهر التقرير السنوي لبرنامج الإسكان 2024 تحقيق قفزة نوعية في حجم مساهمة القطاعين الخاص وغير الربحي في برنامج الإسكان التنموي، إذ بلغ إجمالي المساهمات بنهاية العام الماضي أكثر من 2.2 مليار ريال، متجاوزاً المستهدف المحدد لعام 2025 بنسبة إنجاز بلغت 126%.
وبدأت المساهمات في عام 2020 عند 207 ملايين ريال، قبل أن تتضاعف بشكل لافت خلال السنوات اللاحقة، ففي 2021 سجلت المساهمات 502.7 مليون ريال، وفي 2022 قفزت إلى 1.3 مليار ريال، وفي 2023 واصلت الصعود إلى 1.7 مليار ريال، وفي 2024 بلغت 2.2 مليار ريال، محققة الهدف قبل الموعد المستهدف بعام كامل.
وبين التقرير، أن هذه الأرقام تعكس الدور المحوري للقطاعين الخاص وغير الربحي في تعزيز الاستقرار الاجتماعي، من خلال توفير المساكن للأسر الأشد حاجة، والمساهمة في خفض الأعباء عن الفئات الأكثر ضعفاً. كما يعكس المؤشر نجاح استراتيجية الإسكان في إشراك مختلف الأطراف ضمن منظومة متكاملة تعزز التنمية المستدامة.
ومع تحقيق المستهدف مبكراً، يبرز التحدي القادم في استدامة المساهمات وتوسيع نطاقها، بحيث لا تقتصر على توفير الوحدات السكنية، بل تشمل تطوير حلول تمويلية مبتكرة، وشراكات طويلة الأمد تضمن استمرارية الدعم وجودة الخدمات.

The annual report of the Housing Program 2024 showed a qualitative leap in the contribution of the private and non-profit sectors to the developmental housing program, as the total contributions by the end of last year exceeded 2.2 billion riyals, surpassing the target set for 2025 by achieving 126%.
Contributions started in 2020 at 207 million riyals, before doubling significantly in the following years. In 2021, contributions recorded 502.7 million riyals, in 2022 they jumped to 1.3 billion riyals, in 2023 they continued to rise to 1.7 billion riyals, and in 2024 they reached 2.2 billion riyals, achieving the target a full year ahead of schedule.
The report indicated that these figures reflect the pivotal role of the private and non-profit sectors in enhancing social stability by providing housing for the most needy families and contributing to reducing the burdens on the most vulnerable groups. The indicator also reflects the success of the housing strategy in engaging various parties within an integrated system that promotes sustainable development.
With the target being achieved early, the next challenge is the sustainability of contributions and expanding their scope, so that they do not only focus on providing housing units, but also include the development of innovative financing solutions and long-term partnerships that ensure the continuity of support and the quality of services.
