أعلنت وزارة التجارة عن حجب متجر إلكتروني مخالف يعمل من خارج المملكة، بعد رصده يروّج لبيع سبائك ذهبية مغشوشة مصنّعة من النحاس ومطلية بالذهب، بهدف خداع وتضليل المستهلكين في السوق السعودية.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن المتجر المخالف كان يعرض سبائك بأوزان مختلفة وبأسعار تقل عن نصف القيمة السوقية، ما أثار الشكوك حول مصداقية المنتج. وتم اتخاذ قرار الحجب الفوري بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية، في إطار حماية المستهلكين وتطبيق نظام التجارة الإلكترونية ولائحته التنفيذية.
وأكدت «التجارة» أهمية التأكد من موثوقية المتاجر الإلكترونية قبل الشراء منها، مشددة على ضرورة استخدام خدمة الاستعلام عن المتاجر الموثوقة المتاحة عبر منصة المركز السعودي للأعمال. ودعت المستهلكين إلى تجنب التعامل مع المواقع أو الحسابات غير المعروفة لتفادي مخاطر النصب والاحتيال.
The Ministry of Commerce announced the blocking of a non-compliant online store operating from outside the Kingdom, after it was detected promoting the sale of counterfeit gold bars made of copper and coated with gold, with the aim of deceiving and misleading consumers in the Saudi market.
The ministry clarified that the non-compliant store was offering bars in different weights at prices less than half of the market value, which raised suspicions about the credibility of the product. An immediate blocking decision was made in cooperation with the relevant authorities, as part of protecting consumers and implementing the e-commerce system and its executive regulations.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of verifying the reliability of online stores before purchasing from them, stressing the necessity of using the inquiry service about trusted stores available through the Saudi Business Center platform. It urged consumers to avoid dealing with unknown websites or accounts to prevent the risks of fraud and deception.
