أظهرت بيانات التقرير القطاعي الصادر عن غرفة تجارة وصناعة المدينة المنورة للربع الأول من عام 2025م تنوعاً ملحوظاً في القطاعات الاقتصادية وارتفاعاً في نسب مساهمتها بمنطقة المدينة المنورة، مما يُجسد حراكاً اقتصادياً متنامياً يعزز من مكانة المنطقة الاقتصادية.
وأفاد التقرير أن قطاع البناء والتشييد استحوذ على النسبة الأكبر من القوى العاملة بنسبة بلغت 24%، في دلالة على الطفرة العمرانية التي تشهدها المنطقة، وسجل قطاع التجارة بالجملة والتجزئة وصيانة المركبات نسبة 20% من القوى العاملة، ما يؤكد النشاط التجاري الكبير في المدينة.
وفي السياحة، بلغت نسبة القوى العاملة 11.2%، مما يشير إلى الدور المحوري للقطاع السياحي وخدمة ضيوف البيت الحرام، خصوصاً في ظل الاهتمام المتزايد بالبنية التحتية السياحية في المنطقة. وأوضح التقرير أن قطاع التصنيع يضم نحو 12% من القوى العاملة، ما يدل على وجود قاعدة صناعية متنامية تسهم في تنويع الاقتصاد المحلي.
وكان قطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية في منطقة المدينة المنورة قد سجل نمواً متسارعاً خلال الربع الأول من عام 2025، مدفوعاً بارتفاع الطلب على الخدمات اللوجستية والنقل الذكي، وفق ما أظهره التقرير القطاعي للربع الأول 2025 الصادر عن غرفة التجارة والصناعة بالمدينة المنورة، في وقت سابق.
وبين التقرير أن مشاريع البنية التحتية في قطاع الطرق شهدت توسعاً لافتاً، إذ تم تنفيذ 12 مشروعاً رئيسياً بين عامي 2023 و2024، بإجمالي استثمارات تجاوزت 1.6 مليار ريال.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن مطار الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز الدولي استقبل نحو 10 ملايين مسافر خلال عام 2024، مما يعكس دوره الحيوي في دعم السياحة الدينية وتسهيل حركة الحجاج والمعتمرين بين المدينة المنورة ومكة المكرمة.
