مع اقتراب عيد الأضحى المبارك، شهدت أسواق الأغنام في صامطة ارتفاعاً ملحوظاً في أسعار الأضاحي.
وقال أسامة عبدالله: أتيت للسوق لأخذ «عقيقة» وتفاجأت بارتفاع الأسعار، فسعر الذبيحة يراوح بين 1400 و1800 ريال.
وقال أحد تجار المواشي إن هناك ارتفاعاً في أسعار الأغنام البلدي هذه الأيام، ومع قرب دخول عيد الأضحى أصبح الخروف الصغير الذي لا يتعدى وزنه 10 كيلوغرامات يصل إلى 1300 ريال.
وفي هذا الصدد، ازدحمت أسواق الأغنام بصامطة وكافة محافظات ومراكز المنطقة، وأصبح الإقبال كبيراً جداً على الشراء؛ لأن العيد على الأبواب والأضاحي يزداد الطلب على الكبيرة منها.
وأشار علي عكيس عواف إلى ارتفاع أسعار الأغنام بشكل قوي، وعزا ذلك لكثرة الطلب وقرب عيد الأضحى، متمنياً أن تكون هناك متابعة وكشف على الذبائح أثناء البيع للتأكد من أنها سليمة وخالية من الأمراض.
أما عبده حاسر، فقال: هذه الأيام هناك ارتفاع في أسعار الأغنام؛ نظراً لأننا في موسم عيد الأضحى، ولا ننسى قلة الإنتاج، مما يساعد على ارتفاع أسعارها.
وقال حسن طيب ومحمد جابر إن ارتفاع أسعار الأغنام سبب ضغطاً مالياً علينا.

Osama Abdullah said: I came to the market to buy a "Aqiqah" and was surprised by the price increase, as the price of a sacrificial animal ranges between 1400 and 1800 riyals.
One of the livestock traders mentioned that there has been a rise in the prices of local sheep these days, and with the approaching Eid al-Adha, a small lamb weighing no more than 10 kilograms can reach 1300 riyals.
In this regard, the sheep markets in Samta and all the provinces and centers of the region have become very crowded, and there is a significant demand for purchases; because the holiday is around the corner, and the demand for larger sacrificial animals is increasing.
Ali Akis Awaf pointed to a strong rise in sheep prices, attributing it to high demand and the proximity of Eid al-Adha, wishing that there would be monitoring and inspection of the sacrificial animals during sale to ensure they are healthy and free of diseases.
As for Abdu Hasir, he said: These days, there is an increase in sheep prices; due to the fact that we are in the Eid al-Adha season, and we cannot forget the low production, which contributes to the rise in prices.
Hassan Tayeb and Mohammed Jaber stated that the rise in sheep prices has put financial pressure on us.
