The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has called on private sector establishments with 50 or more employees to disclose training data through the "Qiwa" platform, before the deadline set for January 31, 2027, confirming that disclosure is mandatory for all establishments covered by the decision, whether they have implemented training programs for their employees or not.
The ministry clarified that establishments that have implemented training programs are required to disclose the number of trainees, the training programs, their hours, and costs, while establishments that have not implemented training programs must disclose this non-implementation, without being exempt from the obligation to meet the legally mandated training requirements.
It revealed that the percentage of private sector establishments disclosing training data exceeded 53% during the year 2025, compared to more than 38% in 2024, amid efforts to build a unified national database that contributes to the development of training policies and enhances workforce efficiency.
It indicated that the disclosure data has contributed to supporting several initiatives, most notably cooperative training, which benefited more than 120,000 students by the end of 2025, in addition to the decision to train graduates and job seekers at a rate of 2% of the total employees in the covered establishments.
The ministry confirmed that disclosing training data aims to enhance investment in skill development, align training programs with labor market needs, and increase workforce productivity and readiness, supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
