برعاية أمير منطقة عسير رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة اردارا للتطوير الأمير تركي بن طلال بن عبدالعزيز، أطلقت شركة اردارا بالتحالف مع سمو القابضة ثاني استثمار ضمن مشروع «الوادي» بمدينة أبها، باستثمار يتجاوز 4 مليارات ريال، في خطوة تجسد رؤية «قمم وشيم» التي تنطلق من هوية المكان، وتعيد للوادي مكانته بوصفه أصلاً للحياة.
ويأتي المشروع من خلال تأسيس صندوق استثمار عقاري مغلق خاضع لأنظمة هيئة السوق المالية، وفق اتفاقية تنظم العلاقة بين الطرفين، بما يمهد لبدء أعمال التطوير ضمن إطار استثماري وتنظيمي متكامل، يحول الرؤية إلى أثر، والاستثمار إلى قيمة تنموية مستدامة.
ووقع الاتفاقيات العضو المنتدب لشركة اردارا نايف بن صالح الحمدان، فيما وقعها من جانب شركة سمو القابضة الرئيس التنفيذي لتطوير الأعمال المهندس عبدالله بن محمد القحطاني، إيذاناً بانطلاق المرحلة التنفيذية لثاني استثمار ضمن مشروع «الوادي».
ويمثل هذا المشروع أكثر من تطوير عمراني؛ فهو يعكس تحالفاً وطنياً يؤمن بأن التنمية الراسخة تبدأ من هوية المكان. ويقع المشروع في قلب تجمع الوادي بمدينة أبها، ويتضمن تطوير البنية التحتية الثانوية والمكونات العمرانية وفق أعلى معايير الجودة والتميز، ليضم وجهة حضرية متكاملة تشمل وحدات سكنية، وضيافة راقية، ومرافق تجارية وترفيهية وثقافية، وساحات عامة وتجارب تعكس إرث عسير وتمنح المكان مستقبلاً يليق بتاريخه.
ويمتد مشروع «الوادي»، الذي تتولى شركة اردارا تطويره، على مساحة تقارب 2.5 مليون متر مربع، وبمسطحات تطويرية تقارب مليوني متر مربع، ليشكل إحدى أبرز الوجهات الحضرية في المنطقة، ومحطة رئيسة في رحلة التحول العمراني والسياحي لمدينة أبها.
وينسجم التحالف مع مستهدفات إستراتيجية تطوير منطقة عسير «القمم والشيم» ورؤية المملكة 2030، من خلال تعزيز جاذبية المنطقة للاستثمار، وتنويع الفرص الاقتصادية، ورفع جودة الحياة.

Under the patronage of the Emir of the Asir Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ardara Development Company, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Ardara Company, in alliance with Sumo Holding, launched the second investment within the "Wadi" project in Abha, with an investment exceeding 4 billion riyals, in a step that embodies the vision of "Peaks and Values," which stems from the identity of the place and restores the valley's status as the origin of life.
The project comes through the establishment of a closed real estate investment fund subject to the regulations of the Capital Market Authority, according to an agreement that organizes the relationship between the two parties, paving the way for the commencement of development work within a comprehensive investment and regulatory framework that transforms the vision into impact and investment into sustainable developmental value.
The agreements were signed by the Managing Director of Ardara, Nayef bin Saleh Al-Hamdan, while on behalf of Sumo Holding, they were signed by the CEO of Business Development, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, signaling the launch of the executive phase of the second investment within the "Wadi" project.
This project represents more than just urban development; it reflects a national alliance that believes that solid development begins with the identity of the place. The project is located in the heart of the Wadi gathering in Abha city and includes the development of secondary infrastructure and urban components according to the highest standards of quality and excellence, to encompass a comprehensive urban destination that includes residential units, upscale hospitality, commercial and entertainment facilities, cultural spaces, and experiences that reflect the heritage of Asir and grant the place a future worthy of its history.
The "Wadi" project, which Ardara is developing, spans an area of approximately 2.5 million square meters, with developmental areas approaching two million square meters, making it one of the most prominent urban destinations in the region and a key station in the journey of urban and tourism transformation for the city of Abha.
