وارتفع مؤشر داو جونز الصناعي 226.2 نقطة أو 0.44% إلى 52,173.42 نقطة، وصعد مؤشر ستاندرد آند بورز 500 بمقدار 52.2 نقطة أو 0.70% إلى 7464.2 نقطة. وزاد مؤشر ناسداك المجمع 260.4 نقطة أو 1.04% إلى 25236.185 نقطة.

وهبطت أسعار النفط بأكثر من 7% اليوم (الإثنين)، مسجلة أدنى مستوى في أسبوع، بعدما أوقفت الولايات المتحدة وإيران مطلع الأسبوع تبادل الهجمات التي دارت رحاها على مدى نحو أسبوعين، ما عزز آمال التوصل إلى حل دبلوماسي من شأنه خفض التصعيد والسماح باستئناف الملاحة عبر مضيق هرمز. وتراجعت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 7.55 دولار أو بنحو 7.8% إلى 89.23 دولار للبرميل، ونزل خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأمريكي 6.01 دولار بما يعادل 6.73% إلى 83.30 دولار للبرميل.

Oil Prices
Oil prices fell by more than 7% today (Monday), hitting a one-week low, after the United States and Iran halted the exchange of attacks that had been ongoing for nearly two weeks, raising hopes for a diplomatic solution that could de-escalate tensions and allow navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to resume. Brent crude futures dropped by $7.55 or about 7.8% to $89.23 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude fell by $6.01, equivalent to 6.73%, to $83.30 per barrel.
