هدد الرئيس الأمريكي «دونالد ترامب» بفرض رسوم جمركية بنسبة 100% على أي دولة تفرض ما يُعرف بـ«ضريبة الخدمات الرقمية» على الشركات الأمريكية، في تصعيد جديد للخلافات التجارية المتعلقة بقطاع التكنولوجيا.
وقال «ترمب» في منشور عبر «تروث سوشيال» اليوم (الجمعة): «ستلغي هذه التعريفة الجمركية أي اتفاقيات تجارية مبرمة مع أي دولة، سواء تم تنفيذها أو توقيعها أم لا».
وأضاف أن عدداً من الدول الأوروبية يناقش تطبيق ضرائب رقمية على الشركات الأمريكية، مشيراً إلى أن بعضها بات قريباً من تنفيذ هذه الخطوة.
وشدد «ترمب» على أن الرسوم ستُفرض بشكل فوري إذا مضت أي دولة في تطبيق ضريبة الخدمات الرقمية على الشركات الأمريكية.
U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose a 100% tariff on any country that implements what is known as a "digital services tax" on American companies, in a new escalation of trade disputes related to the technology sector.
Trump said in a post on Truth Social today (Friday): "This tariff will cancel any trade agreements made with any country, whether they have been executed or signed or not."
He added that several European countries are discussing the implementation of digital taxes on American companies, noting that some are close to taking this step.
Trump emphasized that the tariffs will be imposed immediately if any country proceeds with implementing the digital services tax on American companies.
