أغلقت أسواق الأسهم في الخليج على انخفاض، اليوم، بعدما تسببت هجمات جديدة شنتها إيران والولايات المتحدة في المنطقة في زعزعة وقف إطلاق النار الهش في الأصل.
وانخفض مؤشر دبي الرئيسي 0.9%، متأثراً بتراجع سهم شركة العربية للطيران الاقتصادي 3.6%، ونزول سهم بنك المشرق 5%.
وفي أبوظبي، انخفض المؤشر القياسي 0.3% مع خسارة سهم شركة الدار العقارية 0.3%.
أبطأ وتيرة
في الوقت نفسه، أظهر استطلاع، اليوم، أن القطاع الخاص غير النفطي في الإمارات سجل في أبريل الماضي أبطأ وتيرة نمو له منذ فبراير 2021، إذ أثرت الحرب على إيران سلباً على قطاعي الشحن والسياحة، مما أضر بالمبيعات والصادرات على حد سواء.
وتراجع المؤشر القياسي للسوق السعودية 0.8%. ونزل مؤشر بورصة قطر 0.6% مع تراجع سهم مصرف قطر الإسلامي 1.1%.
وتراجعت المؤشرات في البحرين والكويت وعمان 1.2% و0.3% و0.1% على الترتيب.
وخارج منطقة الخليج، ارتفع مؤشر الأسهم القيادية في مصر 1.1%، مع صعود سهم البنك التجاري الدولي 2.3%.
The stock markets in the Gulf closed lower today, after new attacks by Iran and the United States in the region disrupted the already fragile ceasefire.
The Dubai main index fell by 0.9%, affected by a 3.6% drop in the share of Air Arabia and a 5% decline in the share of Mashreq Bank.
In Abu Dhabi, the benchmark index decreased by 0.3% as Aldar Properties' share lost 0.3%.
Slower Pace
At the same time, a survey today showed that the non-oil private sector in the UAE recorded its slowest growth rate in April since February 2021, as the war on Iran negatively impacted the shipping and tourism sectors, harming both sales and exports.
The benchmark index for the Saudi market fell by 0.8%. The Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped by 0.6%, with Qatar Islamic Bank's share declining by 1.1%.
Indices in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman fell by 1.2%, 0.3%, and 0.1% respectively.
Outside the Gulf region, Egypt's leading stock index rose by 1.1%, with the Commercial International Bank's share increasing by 2.3%.
