أعلنت مجموعة stc، ممكن التحول الرقمي، عن استكمال خطتها الشاملة لتعزيز جاهزيتها الرقمية وقدراتها التقنية مع حلول شهر رمضان المبارك، و توافد ملايين المسلمين من مختلف دول العالم لزيارة مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وأداء مناسك العمرة.
وشملت هذه الاستعدادات تعزيز سعة الشبكات وتوسيع نطاق التغطية في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وغيرها من المدن الرئيسية في المملكة، وذلك بهدف ضمان توفير خدمات اتصال موثوقة وعالية الكفاءة طيلة أيام الشهر الفضيل.
وحرصاً منها على تلبية الطلب المتزايد خلال شهر رمضان، قامت مجموعة stc بزيادة سعات شبكات الجيلين الرابع والخامس بهدف تحسين أداء الشبكة وزمن الاستجابة في المناطق الأكثر ازدحاماً. كما قامت المجموعة بتعزيز مستويات التغطية الداخلية عبر إضافة عدد من المواقع الجديدة، بالإضافة إلى توسيع نطاق التغطية في مواقع أخرى بهدف توفير تجربة رقمية متميزة للزوار والسكان خلال الشهر الفضيل. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم نشر النطاق الترددي الجديد 600 ميجاهرتز والنطاق 3800 ميجاهيرتز في أهم المناطق الحيوية ضمن مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة لتحسين التغطية وزيادة سعات وسرعات شبكات الجيل الخامس داخل المباني والمناطق ذات الكثافة العالية.
بالإضافة لذلك، أجرت stc تحسينات نوعية على شبكات الجيل الرابع والجيل الخامس، لتحسين جودة الصوت وسرعة نقل البيانات، بما يضمن استقرار الخدمة خلال فترات الذروة. وتسهم هذه الجهود في تمكين الزوار والسكان من التواصل مع عائلاتهم بسهولة والوصول إلى الخدمات الرقمية الأساسية طوال أيام شهر رمضان المبارك.

The stc Group, a digital transformation enabler, announced the completion of its comprehensive plan to enhance its digital readiness and technical capabilities in time for the blessed month of Ramadan, as millions of Muslims from various countries flock to Mecca and Medina to perform Umrah.
These preparations included enhancing network capacity and expanding coverage in Mecca, Medina, and other major cities in the Kingdom, with the aim of ensuring reliable and high-efficiency communication services throughout the days of the holy month.
In its effort to meet the increasing demand during Ramadan, the stc Group has increased the capacities of its 4G and 5G networks to improve network performance and response times in the most crowded areas. The group also enhanced indoor coverage levels by adding several new sites, in addition to expanding coverage in other locations to provide an exceptional digital experience for visitors and residents during the holy month. Additionally, the new 600 MHz and 3800 MHz bandwidths have been deployed in key vital areas within Mecca and Medina to improve coverage and increase the capacities and speeds of 5G networks inside buildings and high-density areas.
Furthermore, stc has made qualitative improvements to its 4G and 5G networks to enhance voice quality and data transfer speed, ensuring service stability during peak times. These efforts enable visitors and residents to easily communicate with their families and access essential digital services throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.
