عقد وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر بن إبراهيم الخريّف اليوم اجتماعاً مع وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط في الجمهورية التونسية الدكتور سمير عبدالحفيظ، جرى خلاله مناقشة سبل تعزيز التكامل الاقتصادي والصناعي بين البلدين الشقيقين، وذلك على هامش أعمال الدورة الثانية عشرة للجنة السعودية - التونسية المشتركة المنعقدة في الرياض.
وبحث الاجتماعُ توسيع آفاق التعاون المشترك بين المملكة والجمهورية التونسية في عددٍ من القطاعات الاقتصادية الإستراتيجية، إلى جانب مناقشة التحديات التي تواجه المصدِّرين والمستثمرين والحلول الملائمة لمعالجتها، بما يسهم في نمو حجم التجارة البينية، ويحقق مستهدفات التنمية المستدامة في البلدين.
ونوَّه الاجتماع بدور اللجنة السعودية التونسية المشتركة في تعزيز التكامل الاقتصادي والصناعي بين البلدين الشقيقين، مشيداً بجهود فرق العمل وممثلي الجهات الحكومية في الجانبين، التي أسهمت في إدراج ما يصل إلى 100 موضوع ضمن محضر اللجنة، شملت 15 مجالاً للتعاون في عدة قطاعات إستراتيجية تتقدمها الطاقة، والصناعة، والتعدين، والخدمات اللوجستية، والتجارة، وتنمية الموارد البشرية.
تعزيز التعاون الثنائي
حضر الاجتماع مساعد وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية للتخطيط والتطوير الدكتور عبدالله الأحمري، والرئيس التنفيذي لبنك التصدير والاستيراد السعودي المهندس سعد الخلب، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الجمهورية التونسية الدكتور عبدالعزيز الصقر، إلى جانب عددٍ من المسؤولين من كلا البلدين.
وجاء الاجتماع على هامش الدورة الثانية عشرة للجنة السعودية التونسية المشتركة في الرياض، التي تستضيفها وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، وتركز أعمالها على تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في عددٍ من القطاعات الإستراتيجية تشمل الصناعة، والتعدين، والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، والقضاء والعدل، والإعلام.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, held a meeting today with the Minister of Economy and Planning of the Republic of Tunisia, Dr. Samir Abdel Hafiz, during which they discussed ways to enhance economic and industrial integration between the two brotherly countries, on the sidelines of the twelfth session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee held in Riyadh.
The meeting explored expanding the horizons of joint cooperation between the Kingdom and the Republic of Tunisia in several strategic economic sectors, in addition to discussing the challenges facing exporters and investors and the appropriate solutions to address them, contributing to the growth of inter-trade volume and achieving sustainable development goals in both countries.
The meeting highlighted the role of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee in enhancing economic and industrial integration between the two brotherly countries, commending the efforts of the working teams and representatives of government entities from both sides, which contributed to the inclusion of up to 100 topics in the committee's minutes, covering 15 areas of cooperation in several strategic sectors, led by energy, industry, mining, logistics services, trade, and human resources development.
Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation
Attending the meeting were the Assistant Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Planning and Development, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ahmari, the CEO of the Saudi Export-Import Bank, Engineer Saad Al-Khalab, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqr, along with a number of officials from both countries.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the twelfth session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee in Riyadh, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation in several strategic sectors including industry, mining, transportation and logistics services, judiciary and justice, and media.
