أكد وزير الاستثمار خالد الفالح أن السعودية جاهزة لجذب استثمارات الذكاء الاصطناعي بفضل توفر الطاقة والتقنيات المتقدمة، مع استثمارات تتجاوز 100 مليار دولار في البنية التحتية.
وقال: «إن السعودية مهيأة لجذب الاستثمارات في قطاع الذكاء الاصطناعي، لتكون قطباً عالمياً في مراكز البيانات والحوسبة السحابية، بفضل توافر مصادر الطاقة لديها».
وذكر الفالح في كلمته بافتتاح «منتدى فورتشن العالمي» في الرياض أن «المملكة تستثمر في التقنيات المتقدمة التي ستقود المرحلة القادمة، وهناك قطاع ذو أهمية خاصة وهو الذكاء الاصطناعي، الذي يعتمد تقدمه على الوصول إلى الطاقة الميسورة والتواصل الرقمي، ونحن نملك كلا الأمرين بشكل استثنائي».
قطاعات أكثر جذباً
وحول القطاعات الأكثر جذباً للاستثمار في السعودية، أشار الفالح إلى التطور في اللوجستيات والسياحة والتصنيع المتقدم والبنية التحتية الرقمية والرعاية الصحية والطاقة النظيفة، مثل الرياح، والطاقة الشمسية، والهيدروجين الأخضر، إضافة إلى سوق المال التي نمت لتصبح من بين أكبر 10 أسواق في العالم.
Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih confirmed that Saudi Arabia is ready to attract investments in artificial intelligence thanks to the availability of energy and advanced technologies, with investments exceeding $100 billion in infrastructure.
He stated, "Saudi Arabia is well-positioned to attract investments in the artificial intelligence sector, aiming to become a global hub for data centers and cloud computing, due to its abundant energy resources."
Al-Falih mentioned in his speech at the opening of the "Fortune Global Forum" in Riyadh that "the Kingdom is investing in advanced technologies that will lead the next phase, and there is a sector of particular importance, which is artificial intelligence, whose progress relies on access to affordable energy and digital connectivity, and we possess both exceptionally."
More Attractive Sectors
Regarding the most attractive sectors for investment in Saudi Arabia, Al-Falih pointed to developments in logistics, tourism, advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure, healthcare, and clean energy, such as wind, solar, and green hydrogen, in addition to the financial market, which has grown to become one of the top 10 markets in the world.
