كشف تقرير حديث (اطلعت «عكاظ» عليه)، دخول أكثر من 130 ألف مواطن ومواطنة سوق العمل للمرة الأولى خلال عام 2024، مع ارتفاع نسبة مشاركة المرأة السعودية في سوق العمل إلى 36%، وبلغت نسبتها في المناصب الإدارية العليا والمتوسطة 43.8%، ما يعكس تطور الكفاءة النسائية وتميزها المهني.
وشهد قطاع العمل تحولات نوعية بين عامي 2020 و2024، إذ ارتفع عدد السعوديين العاملين في القطاع الخاص من 1.75 مليون إلى 2.45 مليون موظف وموظفة.
ووفقا للتقرير الصادر عن وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية، فقد ارتفع عدد الموظفين والموظفات في 640 جهة حكومية إلى نحو 1.2 مليون موظف وموظفة.
وتقدمت السعودية إلى المرتبة 16 عالميا في مؤشرات التنافسية الدولية، وحققت المركز الأول في نمو التوظيف طويل المدى، والثالث في تشريعات البطالة، مع تسجيل حضور لافت في مؤشرات تمكين المرأة وساعات العمل والمسؤولية الاجتماعية للشركات.
وأكد التقرير أن هذه المنجزات تمثل انعكاسا مباشرا لسياسات الدولة في بناء قطاع تنموي مستدام، يوازن بين الكفاءة والعدالة، ويحقق التكامل بين التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، بما يعزز جودة الحياة ويكرّس ريادة المملكة في إدارة منظومات الحماية والتمكين البشري على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.
وفي قطاع التنمية الاجتماعية، تم تمكين أكثر من 115 ألف شاب وشابة من الفئات المستهدفة لرفع استقلالهم الاقتصادي واستقرارهم الاجتماعي، إضافة إلى تطوير الخدمات المقدمة لكبار السن والأيتام وذوي الإعاقة، وبلغ إجمالي المصروفات المخصصة لبرامج الضمان الاجتماعي وتمكين المواطن وخدمات الإعاقة 86 مليار ريال، كما ارتفعت نسبة الشركات التي تقدم برامج المسؤولية الاجتماعية إلى 65%، وبلغت مساهمات القطاع الخاص عبر منصة المسؤولية الاجتماعية 4 مليارات ريال، فيما ساهم القطاع التعاوني بـ2.2 مليار ريال في الناتج المحلي غير النفطي.

A recent report (which "Okaz" reviewed) revealed that more than 130,000 citizens entered the labor market for the first time in 2024, with the participation rate of Saudi women in the labor market rising to 36%. Their representation in senior and middle management positions reached 43.8%, reflecting the development of women's competencies and their professional excellence.
The labor sector witnessed qualitative transformations between 2020 and 2024, as the number of Saudis working in the private sector increased from 1.75 million to 2.45 million employees.
According to the report issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the number of employees in 640 government entities rose to about 1.2 million.
Saudi Arabia advanced to 16th place globally in international competitiveness indicators, achieving first place in long-term employment growth and third in unemployment legislation, with a notable presence in indicators of women's empowerment, working hours, and corporate social responsibility.
The report confirmed that these achievements directly reflect the state's policies in building a sustainable developmental sector that balances efficiency and justice, achieving integration between economic and social development, thereby enhancing quality of life and solidifying the Kingdom's leadership in managing human protection and empowerment systems at both regional and international levels.
In the social development sector, more than 115,000 young men and women from targeted groups were empowered to enhance their economic independence and social stability, in addition to developing services for the elderly, orphans, and people with disabilities. The total expenditures allocated for social security programs, citizen empowerment, and disability services amounted to 86 billion riyals. The percentage of companies offering corporate social responsibility programs rose to 65%, with contributions from the private sector through the social responsibility platform reaching 4 billion riyals, while the cooperative sector contributed 2.2 billion riyals to the non-oil GDP.
