اعتمدت اللجنة الوزارية المشكلة من وزراء الصناعة في دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية توصية بفرض رسوم نهائية لمكافحة الإغراق على واردات دول المجلس من منتج بطاريات السيارات (مدخرات أو جماعات كهربائية) ذات المنشأ أو المصدرة من جمهورية الصين الشعبية وماليزيا.
وأكد المدير العام لمكتب الأمانة الفنية لمكافحة الممارسات الضارة في التجارة الدولية بالأمانة العامة لمجلس التعاون محفوظ الرقادي أن هذا القرار يأتي بناء على النتائج التي توصل إليها التحقيق الشامل الذي أجراه مكتب الأمانة الفنية، بصفته سلطة التحقيق المختصة والممثلة لدول المجلس، وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء القطرية.
وأوضح الرقادي أن قرار اللجنة الوزارية، الذي تم نشره رسمياً، اعتمد توصية اللجنة الدائمة لمكافحة الممارسات الضارة في التجارة الدولية لدول مجلس التعاون، بفرض الرسوم النهائية لمكافحة الإغراق.
ويشمل القرار منتج بطاريات السيارات (مدخرات أو جماعات كهربائية، بما في ذلك فواصلها، وإن كانت مستطيلة بما فيها المربعة بالرصاص - حامض، من الأنواع المستعملة لإطلاق الحركة للمحركات ذات المكابس).
The ministerial committee formed by the ministers of industry in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries has adopted a recommendation to impose final anti-dumping duties on imports from the GCC countries of automotive batteries (storage batteries or electric cells) originating from or exported from the People's Republic of China and Malaysia.
The Director General of the Technical Secretariat for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mahfoudh Al-Ruqadi, confirmed that this decision comes based on the results of the comprehensive investigation conducted by the Technical Secretariat, as the competent investigating authority representing the GCC countries, according to the Qatari News Agency.
Al-Ruqadi explained that the decision of the ministerial committee, which has been officially published, adopted the recommendation of the Permanent Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade of the Gulf Cooperation Council, to impose final anti-dumping duties.
The decision includes the product of automotive batteries (storage batteries or electric cells, including their separators, whether rectangular or square, lead-acid, of the types used to initiate movement for piston engines).
