The spokesperson for the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, stated that a cyber attack targeted Bank Sepah and Bank Pasargad, leading to disruptions in the operations of these two banks.

Mohajerani added today (Wednesday): We have witnessed an increase in demand for cash, and this issue of cash liquidity will be resolved soon.

She pointed out that the internet disruption is due to our occasional need to reduce network speed to counter cyber attacks.

Mohajerani continued: "As long as there is no emergency situation, there will be no transition to the national internet."
