كشفت هيئة الإحصاء أن الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الحقيقي للسعودية حقق نمواً بنسبة 3.4% في الربع الأول 2025 مقارنة بنفس الفترة من عام 2024.
وكانت الهيئة قد تبنت منهجية السلاسل المتحركة في الحسابات القومية لحساب الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الحقيقي، إذ أصدرت النشرة للربع الرابع من عام 2023 والنشرة السنوية للعام نفسه بالمنهجية الجديدة بدلاً من المنهجية السابقة التي كانت تقوم على استخدام سنة الأساس الثابتة.
وحققت الأنشطة غير النفطية ارتفاعاً بنسبة 4.9%، كما حققت الأنشطة الحكومية ارتفاعاً بنسبة 3.2%، في حين سجلت الأنشطة النفطية انخفاضاً على أساس سنوي بنسبة 0.5%.
وشهد الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بالأسعار الجارية ارتفاعاً بنسبة 2.7% خلال الربع الأول 2025 ليبلغ 1183 مليار ريال، مقارنةً بنفس الفترة من عام 2024.
وتراجع القطاع النفطي بالأسعار الجارية بنسبة 6.8%، فيما ارتفع القطاع غير النفطي بنسبة 6.5%، وارتفع القطاع الحكومي بنسبة 5.7%.
وحققت معظم الأنشطة الاقتصادية معدلات نمو إيجابية على أساس سنوي، إذ سجلت أنشطة تجارة الجملة والتجزئة والمطاعم والفنادق أعلى معدلات النمو خلال الربع الأول من عام 2025م، والتي بلغت 8.4% على أساس سنوي و0.7% على أساس ربعي. وحققت أنشطة النقل والتخزين والاتصالات نمواً بنسبة 6%، كما حققت أنشطة خدمات المال والتأمين وخدمات الأعمال نمواً بنسبة 5.5%.

The statistics authority revealed that Saudi Arabia's real GDP grew by 3.4% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
The authority had adopted a moving average methodology in national accounts to calculate real GDP, issuing the bulletin for the fourth quarter of 2023 and the annual bulletin for the same year using the new methodology instead of the previous methodology that relied on a fixed base year.
Non-oil activities recorded an increase of 4.9%, while government activities saw a rise of 3.2%, whereas oil activities recorded a year-on-year decline of 0.5%.
The GDP at current prices increased by 2.7% during the first quarter of 2025, reaching 1,183 billion riyals, compared to the same period in 2024.
The oil sector at current prices declined by 6.8%, while the non-oil sector rose by 6.5%, and the government sector increased by 5.7%.
Most economic activities achieved positive growth rates on a year-on-year basis, with wholesale and retail trade, restaurants, and hotels recording the highest growth rates during the first quarter of 2025, reaching 8.4% year-on-year and 0.7% quarter-on-quarter. Transportation, storage, and communications activities grew by 6%, while financial services, insurance, and business services grew by 5.5%.
