ارتفعت أسعار النفط في التعاملات المبكرة لهذا اليوم (الاثنين)، معوضة خسائر الأسبوع الماضي بعد أن اتفقت (أوبك+) مطلع الأسبوع على زيادة الإنتاج لكن بوتيرة أبطأ اعتباراً من أكتوبر نظرًا لتوقع ضعف الطلب العالمي.
خام برنت وخام غرب تكساس
وارتفع خام برنت 23 سنتاً بما يعادل 0.4% إلى 65.73 دولار للبرميل، وزاد خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأمريكي 21 سنتاً، أو 0.3% إلى 62.08 دولار، للبرميل.
وانخفض كلا الخامين القياسيين بأكثر من 2% يوم الجمعة، إذ أثر ضعف تقرير الوظائف الأمريكي على توقعات الطلب على الطاقة. وخسرا أكثر من 3% الأسبوع الماضي.
اتفاق على زيادة وتيرة رفع الإنتاج
واتفقت (أوبك+)، التي تضم منظمة البلدان المصدرة للبترول (أوبك) وروسيا وحلفاء آخرين، على زيادة وتيرة رفع إنتاج النفط بدءا من أكتوبر القادم.
Oil prices rose in early trading today (Monday), recovering losses from last week after (OPEC+) agreed at the beginning of the week to increase production, but at a slower pace starting in October due to expectations of weak global demand.
Brent Crude and West Texas Intermediate
Brent crude rose by 23 cents, or 0.4%, to $65.73 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate increased by 21 cents, or 0.3%, to $62.08 a barrel.
Both benchmark crude oils fell by more than 2% on Friday, as a weak U.S. jobs report impacted energy demand forecasts. They lost more than 3% last week.
Agreement to Increase Production Pace
(OPEC+), which includes the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Russia along with other allies, agreed to increase the pace of oil production starting next October.
