أعلنت المفوضية الأوروبية -في بيان- أنها اعتمدت اقتراحاً بتقديم حزمة جديدة من المساعدات المالية الكليّة للأردن بقيمة تصل إلى 500 مليون يورو، وذلك في إطار تعزيز الشراكة الإستراتيجية الشاملة بين الطرفين.
وتهدف هذه المساعدة إلى دعم احتياجات الأردن التمويلية الخارجية، والإسهام في استقرار المالية العامة، ومواصلة تنفيذ الإصلاحات الهيكلية.
وأكّدت المفوضية أن هذه الخطوة تأتي استكمالاً لبرنامج المساعدات الرابع الذي أُقر في أبريل 2025 بقيمة 500 مليون يورو، ليصل إجمالي الدعم المقدم من الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى الأردن إلى مليار يورو خلال الفترة 2025-2027.
وسبق للاتحاد أن قدّم مساعدات مالية كليّة للأردن منذ عام 2014 بلغت 1.08 مليار يورو، ساعدت المملكة الأردنية على مواجهة تداعيات جائحة كوفيد-19 وتعزيز استقرارها الاقتصادي.
وستُمنح هذه المساعدات على شكل قروض طويلة الأجل بشروط ميسّرة، تُصرف على ثلاث دفعات مرتبطة بتنفيذ التزامات إصلاحية متفق عليها، تُحدد في مذكرة تفاهم بين الجانبين.

The European Commission announced in a statement that it has adopted a proposal to provide a new package of total financial assistance to Jordan amounting to up to 500 million euros, as part of strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two parties.
This assistance aims to support Jordan's external financing needs, contribute to the stability of public finances, and continue implementing structural reforms.
The Commission confirmed that this step comes as a continuation of the fourth aid program approved in April 2025, worth 500 million euros, bringing the total support provided by the European Union to Jordan to one billion euros during the period 2025-2027.
The Union had previously provided total financial assistance to Jordan since 2014 amounting to 1.08 billion euros, which helped the Hashemite Kingdom to face the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic and enhance its economic stability.
This assistance will be granted in the form of long-term loans with favorable conditions, disbursed in three installments linked to the implementation of agreed-upon reform commitments, as specified in a memorandum of understanding between the two sides.
This assistance aims to support Jordan's external financing needs, contribute to the stability of public finances, and continue implementing structural reforms.
