أثار ظهور صورة مركبة للفنانة شيرين عبد الوهاب والفنان حسام حبيب في سن متقدمة جدلاً واسعاً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، إذ جاءت الصورة للسخرية والتعليق على استمرار تداول أخبار انفصالهما وعودتهما.
وكانت شائعات قد انتشرت أخيراً تفيد بإلقاء القبض على حسام حبيب بتهمة تورطه في قضية مخدرات، لكن الفنان نفى هذه الأنباء بشكل قاطع خلال بث مباشر مع الإعلامية بسمة وهبة. وأكد أنه في منزله، وأن الأخبار المتداولة غير صحيحة. وأضاف: «من 4 سنوات لا يُقال عني شيء حقيقي. الناس دائماً تركز على أمور لا تمت للحقيقة بصلة».
كما نفى حبيب الأخبار المتعلقة بعودته إلى شيرين عبد الوهاب، مؤكداً أن الأمر مجرد شائعات لا أساس لها، داعياً وسائل الإعلام والجمهور إلى توخي الدقة قبل نشر أي معلومات. وشدد على أن العلاقة بينه وبين شيرين قائمة على الصداقة والاحترام المتبادل.
