أكدت شام الذهبي، ابنة الفنانة السورية أصالة نصري، عدم نيتها خوض تجربة الغناء مجدداً، وذلك بعد أيام من طرح أغنيتها الأولى «على موجة الحب» عبر يوتيوب، حيث حققت 3.4 آلاف مشاهدة فقط حتى الآن.

وأوضحت شام خلال حوارها مع سارة دندراوي في برنامج «تفاعلكم»، أن السبب في قرارها يعود إلى الانتقادات الواسعة التي صاحبت أغنيتها الأولى، مما سبب إزعاجاً لوالدتها أصالة، التي قالت لي شام: «آخر مرة تغني»، بعد ترحيبها بالتجربة في البداية.
وأضافت شام أن أصالة رحبت بأغنية «على موجة الحب» لأول مرة لأنها تحتوي على بهجة وطاقة إيجابية، وكانت مرتبطة بمشروعها الخاص وليس كعمل تجاري أو فني، ووافقت على طرحها للجمهور عبر الإنترنت. وأكدت شام وعدها لوالدتها بأن هذه ستكون آخر مرة تسمع صوتها في عمل فني، مشيرة إلى أن دخولها عالم الغناء كان صدفة، بمناسبة مرور 7 أعوام على تدشين مشروعها الخاص، وقرب افتتاح فرع جديد في بيروت.
الفن لايورث
كما أضافت: «أنا مدركة تماماً أنني لست موهوبة في الغناء، وهذه أول وآخر مرة أغني».
وأشارت إلى أن الغناء ليس مهمة سهلة كما يعتقد البعض، إذ يتطلب مجهوداً ضخماً، مستشهدة بتجربتها الغنائية الأولى التي بذلت فيها جهداً كبيراً، وذهبت إلى الاستوديو ثلاث مرات لإعادة الغناء، معربة عن تفهمها لانتقادات الجمهور بأن الفن لا يورث، وأن الأغنية كانت مجرد احتفالية ورغبة في نشر طاقة المحبة مع فريقها.".

Sham explained during her interview with Sara Dandrawi on the program "Tafa'ulkom" that the reason for her decision stems from the widespread criticism that accompanied her first song, which caused discomfort for her mother Assala, who told Sham: "This is the last time you sing," after initially welcoming the experience.
Sham added that Assala welcomed the song "On the Waves of Love" for the first time because it contains joy and positive energy, and it was linked to her own project rather than being a commercial or artistic endeavor, and she agreed to release it to the public online. Sham confirmed her promise to her mother that this would be the last time she would hear her voice in an artistic work, noting that her entry into the world of singing was coincidental, coinciding with the seventh anniversary of launching her own project and the upcoming opening of a new branch in Beirut.
Art is Not Inherited
She also added: "I am fully aware that I am not talented in singing, and this is the first and last time I will sing."
She pointed out that singing is not an easy task as some might think, as it requires tremendous effort, citing her first singing experience in which she put in a lot of effort, going to the studio three times to re-record, expressing her understanding of the audience's criticism that art is not inherited, and that the song was merely a celebration and a desire to spread the energy of love with her team.
