حققت الفنانة الكويتية إلهام الفضالة، انتصاراً قضائياً جديداً، بعدما أصدرت محكمة الاستئناف حكماً يقضي بإلزام أحد المدعى عليهم بتعويضها عن الأضرار التي لحقت بها نتيجة التشهير والإساءة عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، في خطوة تعزز الحماية القانونية من التجاوزات الرقمية.
وأعلنت الوكيلة القانونية للفنانة، صدور الحكم، مؤكدة أن المحكمة أقرت بأحقية موكلتها في التعويض بعد ثبوت الضرر الناتج عن حملات التشهير الإلكتروني، معتبرة أن القرار يعكس موقفاً قضائياً حازماً تجاه الانتهاكات التي تُرتكب عبر الفضاء الرقمي.
من جانبها، شاركت الفضالة متابعيها صورة من الحكم عبر حساباتها على مواقع التواصل، ووجهت الشكر لفريق دفاعها، كما أعربت عن تقديرها للقضاء في المملكة العربية السعودية، مؤكدة ثقتها بتحقيق العدالة.
ويأتي هذا الحكم بعد أشهر من حصول الفضالة على حكم نهائي بالبراءة في القضية المرتبطة بتسجيل صوتي أُعيد تداوله عبر الإنترنت، إذ خلصت التحقيقات إلى أن التسجيل يعود إلى 2021، وأُعيد نشره من حسابات مجهولة، لتنتهي القضية لاحقاً ببراءتها من التهم المنسوبة إليها.
Kuwaiti artist Ilham Al-Fadala has achieved a new judicial victory after the Court of Appeal issued a ruling obligating one of the defendants to compensate her for the damages she suffered as a result of defamation and abuse via social media platforms, in a step that enhances legal protection against digital violations.
The artist's legal representative announced the issuance of the ruling, confirming that the court recognized her client's right to compensation after proving the damage resulting from online defamation campaigns, considering that the decision reflects a firm judicial stance towards violations committed in the digital space.
For her part, Al-Fadala shared a picture of the ruling with her followers on social media, expressing her gratitude to her defense team, and she also expressed her appreciation for the judiciary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming her confidence in achieving justice.
This ruling comes months after Al-Fadala received a final acquittal in the case related to an audio recording that was circulated online, as investigations concluded that the recording dates back to 2021 and was republished from unknown accounts, ultimately leading to her acquittal from the charges against her.
