The Musicians' Syndicate in Egypt announced the suspension of singer Rahim Noor from performing artistic activities for a month, following the completion of investigations conducted by the Syndicate's Labor Committee regarding professional violations attributed to him.

Professional Violations

The Syndicate clarified in a press statement that the suspension decision came after it was proven that the singer committed several violations, including failing to adhere to an agreed-upon schedule with one of the organizing entities, in addition to actions and behaviors that were deemed a violation of the regulations governing the profession and the behavioral standards it imposes.

Implementation of the Penalty

According to the decision issued by the Syndicate's agent and head of the Labor Committee, Dr. Alaa Salama, the implementation of the penalty will begin on July 1, 2026, and will continue until the end of the month, with Rahim Noor being prohibited from engaging in any artistic activities throughout the suspension period.

Suspension of Permits

The Musicians' Syndicate also decided to suspend the issuance of any work permits for the singer during the penalty period, with the decision being communicated to the relevant authorities to ensure compliance until the end of the suspension period.
