وأوضحت الأسرة، عبر بيان نشرته على حساباتها الرسمية، أنها فوجئت بتنظيم حفلات وأنشطة تحمل اسم عبدالحليم حافظ، تستخدم فيها صوره لتحقيق مكاسب مادية، دون وجود أي تنسيق أو تواصل مع الورثة.
وأشارت إلى تقديم شكوى رسمية إلى الجهات المعنية في المغرب، بجانب استعانتها بمكتب قانوني هناك لمتابعة القضية واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة للحفاظ على الحقوق المرتبطة باسم الفنان الراحل وصورته.
