أعرب الفنان المصري الشاب محمد مهران عن سعادته الكبيرة بخوضه أولى بطولاته المسرحية في المملكة العربية السعودية، من خلال عرض مسرحية «المحاكمة» المأخوذة عن إحدى روايات الكاتبة العالمية أجاثا كريستي، التي قُدمت ضمن فعاليات موسم الرياض.
تجربة مسرحية «المحاكمة»
وأكد مهران في تصريح خاص لصحيفة "عكاظ" أن المسرحية حققت نجاحاً لافتاً وقت عرضها، إذ شهدت إقبالاً واسعاً من الجمهور السعودي، الذي أبدى حماساً كبيراً لمتابعة عمل مسرحي مقتبس من الأدب العالمي، ما يعكس وعي الجمهور واهتمامه بالروايات الأدبية الرفيعة.
أمنيات أعمال مسرحية جديدة
وعن تطلعاته المقبلة، أعرب مهران عن أمنيته في أن يقدم خلال النسخة الجديدة من موسم الرياض عملاً مسرحيّاً جديداً بروح معاصرة، يستلهم الأدب العالمي بشكل مختلف، مؤكداً أن الجمهور السعودي مثقف ويتمتع بدرجة عالية من الوعي الفني.
جديد أعماله
وكشف «مهران» جديد أعماله الفنية المقبلة، أنه يحضّر لأكثر من عمل فني سواء في الدراما والسينما، إذ يقدم مسلسل «بنج كلي» مع الفنان المصري محمد دياب، وفيلم «الحارس» مع الفنان المصري هاني سلامة.
وشارك محمد مهران، سابقاً في موسم رمضان الماضي بمسلسل «المداح»، الذي ضم كلاً من الفنان حمادة هلال، هبة مجدي، دنيا عبدالعزيز، خالد سرحان، حنان سليمان، جوري بكر، دارين حداد، وتأليف وليد أبوالمجد وأمين جمال وشريف يسري، إخراج أحمد سمير فرج.

Mehran confirmed in a special statement to the newspaper "Okaz" that the play achieved remarkable success during its performance, as it witnessed a wide turnout from the Saudi audience, who showed great enthusiasm for following a theatrical work adapted from world literature, reflecting the audience's awareness and interest in high literary novels.
Aspirations for New Theatrical Works
Regarding his upcoming aspirations, Mehran expressed his wish to present a new theatrical work with a contemporary spirit during the new version of the Riyadh Season, drawing inspiration from world literature in a different way, confirming that the Saudi audience is cultured and possesses a high degree of artistic awareness.
His Latest Works
Mohamed Mehran revealed his upcoming artistic works, stating that he is preparing for more than one artistic project, whether in drama or cinema, as he presents the series "Banj Kli" with the Egyptian artist Mohamed Diab, and the film "The Guardian" with the Egyptian artist Hani Salama.
Previously, Mohamed Mehran participated in last Ramadan's season with the series "Al-Madah," which included artists Hamada Helal, Heba Magdy, Donia Abdel Aziz, Khaled Sarhan, Hanan Suleiman, Jouri Bakr, Daren Haddad, and was written by Walid Abu Al-Majd, Amin Jamal, and Sherif Yousry, directed by Ahmed Samir Farag.
