كشفت الفنانة مي عزالدين عن مواقف خاصة جمعتها بـ«الزعيم» عادل إمام في بداياتها الفنية، مؤكدة أنه كان داعما لها وأشاد بدورها في مسلسل «دلع البنات» أمام نجله محمد إمام، حتى أنه استضافها ووالدتها في منزله وحرص على زيارتهم أثناء التصوير.
وعن الفنانة عبلة كامل، عبّرت مي عن افتقادها الكبير لها، ووصفتها بأنها «مدرسة استثنائية» في الأداء، مشيرة إلى أنها تحترم رغبتها في الابتعاد عن الأضواء من أجل سلامها النفسي، مؤكدة: «كانت قوية من غير استعراض ولا ضجيج، مختلفة تماما عن الشاشة».
كما رفضت مي الخوض في تفاصيل رحيل والدتها، معتبرة الأمر شخصيا، بينما تركت الباب مفتوحا أمام إمكانية تقديم جزء رابع من فيلم «عمر وسلمى» مع تامر حسني، بشرط أن يحمل السيناريو رؤية جديدة وقوية تواكب نجاح الأجزاء السابقة.
The artist Mai Ezz El-Din revealed special moments she shared with "the leader" Adel Imam during her early career, confirming that he was supportive of her and praised her role in the series "Dala'a El-Banat" alongside his son Mohamed Imam. He even hosted her and her mother at his home and made sure to visit them during filming.
Regarding the artist Abla Kamel, Mai expressed her great longing for her, describing her as an "exceptional school" in performance. She pointed out that she respects her desire to stay away from the spotlight for her mental peace, affirming: "She was strong without showiness or noise, completely different from what she is on screen."
Mai also refused to delve into the details of her mother's passing, considering the matter personal, while leaving the door open for the possibility of producing a fourth part of the film "Omar and Salma" with Tamer Hosny, provided that the script presents a new and strong vision that matches the success of the previous parts.
