فُجع الوسط الفني العراقي، اليوم، برحيل المخرج مهدي طالب، بعد صراع مع المرض.
ويُعدّ الراحل من أبرز الأسماء في مجال الإخراج التلفزيوني، وأرسى عبر أعماله ركائز درامية لافتة، تمثّلت في معالجات اجتماعية وإنسانية عميقة، تركت بصمة واضحة في المشهد الفني المحلي.
ونعت نقابة الفنانين العراقيين، في بيان لها، المخرج طالب، وقالت: «ببالغ الحزن والأسى، تنعى نقابة الفنانين العراقيين رحيل المخرج مهدي طالب، والذي وافته المنية هذا اليوم، سائلين المولى عزّ وجل أن يتغمّده بواسع رحمته، وأن يُلهم ذويه ومحبيه وزملاءه الصبر والسلوان. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون».
ومن أبرز أعمال الراحل مسلسل «وادي السلام»، الذي تناول قضايا اجتماعية معاصرة، و«ضياع في حفر الباطن»، الذي عالج قضايا إنسانية معمّقة بأسلوب بصري سردي مميز.
The Iraqi artistic community was shocked today by the passing of director Mahdi Taleb, after a battle with illness.
The late director is considered one of the most prominent names in the field of television directing, having established remarkable dramatic foundations through his works, which featured deep social and humanitarian themes, leaving a clear mark on the local artistic scene.
The Iraqi Artists' Syndicate mourned director Taleb in a statement, saying: “With great sadness and sorrow, the Iraqi Artists' Syndicate mourns the passing of director Mahdi Taleb, who passed away today. We ask the Almighty to envelop him in His vast mercy and to grant his family, loved ones, and colleagues patience and solace. Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”
Among the late director's most notable works is the series “Wadi Al-Salam,” which addressed contemporary social issues, and “Diyā’ fi Hafar Al-Batin,” which tackled profound humanitarian issues in a distinctive narrative visual style.
