تشارك مسرحية «طوق» في مهرجان «فرينج» العالمي في العاصمة الإسكتلندية إدنبرة كأول مسرحية سعودية تعرض في تاريخ هذا المهرجان الدولي الذي يعتبر واحداً من أهم المهرجانات النوعية على مستوى العالم.
ونشرت الفنانة السعودية فاطمة الجشي عبر ستوري الإنستغرام الخاص بها عن مشاركة مسرحية «طوق» كأول مسرحية سعودية تعرض في تاريخ مهرجان فرينج الدولي بالعاصمة الإسكتلندية إدنبرة وعلقت وكتبت «شكراً».
وتأتي هذه المسرحية ضمن مشاركة هيئة المسرح والفنون الأدائية السعودية في هذا المهرجان الدولي الذي يُعد الأكبر من نوعه عالمياً، ويُقام هذا العام تحت شعار «Voices of the World Stage» احتفاءً بالتنوع الثقافي، حيث يجمع 3350 عرضاً فنياً يقدّمها 2000 فنان دولي من 256 دولة من مختلف أنحاء العالم.
وتدور أحداث «طوق» في مكتب كئيب، حيث يقضي الموظفون أيامهم كأنهم على وضعية التشغيل الآلي. في أحد الأيام، يفقد «فوزي»، رئيس القسم، أعصابه فجأة، ويقف على الطاولة ليكسر الصمت بانفجار بائس يتساءل فيه عن جدوى هذه الحياة المتكررة، لكن لا شيء يتغير، يعود الزمن إلى بدايته، تتكرر الأحاديث نفسها، ويعود الصمت ذاته، في دورة لا نهاية لها تحاصر الجميع. وتعكس المسرحية الحياة المعاصرة وتكشف عن رتابة الروتين، والمخاوف الصامتة، وتطرح سؤالاً وهو ما الذي يلزم لكسر هذا الطوق.
المسرحية من إخراج فهد الدوسري، ومن بطولة كل من أحمد الذكر الله، فاطمة الجشي، مريم حسين، عبدالعزيز الزياني، خالد الهويدي، وشهاب الشهاب، ويُعرض العمل ضمن برنامج «ستار» التابع لهيئة المسرح والفنون الأدائية، الهادف إلى دعم الإنتاج المسرحي المحلي وتحفيز المواهب السعودية الشابة.

This play is part of the participation of the Saudi Theater and Performing Arts Authority in this international festival, which is the largest of its kind globally. This year, it is held under the slogan "Voices of the World Stage" in celebration of cultural diversity, featuring 3,350 artistic performances presented by 2,000 international artists from 256 countries around the world.
The events of "Tawq" take place in a gloomy office, where employees spend their days as if they are in an automated mode. One day, "Fawzi," the department head, suddenly loses his temper and stands on the table to break the silence with a desperate outburst questioning the purpose of this repetitive life. However, nothing changes; time returns to its beginning, the same conversations repeat, and the same silence returns, in an endless cycle that traps everyone. The play reflects contemporary life, revealing the monotony of routine and silent fears, and poses the question of what is needed to break this cycle.
The play is directed by Fahd Al-Dosari and stars Ahmed Al-Dhikr Allah, Fatima Al-Jishi, Mariam Hussein, Abdulaziz Al-Zayani, Khalid Al-Huwaidi, and Shahab Al-Shahab. The work is presented as part of the "Star" program of the Theater and Performing Arts Authority, aimed at supporting local theatrical production and encouraging young Saudi talents.
