أصدرت محكمة بحرينية حكماً بسجن الفاشينستا الكويتية زينب أمير لعام واحد، وتغريمها 200 دينار بحريني، ومصادرة هاتفها المحمول، وترحيلها بعد انقضاء مدة العقوبة، لإدانتها بنشر محتوى وصف بأنه «خادش للحياء العام»، عبر حساباتها على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وذلك في سياق الحملات الرامية إلى مكافحة المحتوى غير اللائق على الإنترنت، وضمان الالتزام بالقيم المجتمعية في مملكة البحرين.
تمتلك الفاشينستا الخليجية شعبية واسعة، إذ يتابعها أكثر من 90 ألف شخص على منصة «تيك توك»، و36 ألف متابع على «سناب شات»، وتعد من الشخصيات البارزة في عالم التواصل الاجتماعي في الخليج، وأثارت في الفترة الأخيرة جدلاً واسعاً بسبب محتواها وبثوثها المباشرة التي اعتبرت خادشة.
