قرر المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام، برئاسة المهندس خالد عبد العزيز، حفظ الشكوى المقدمة من نقابة المهن الموسيقية ضد الكاتب الصحفي الناقد الفني طارق الشناوي، ومقدم البرامج خالد أبو بكر، والإعلاميتين مفيدة شيحة وسهير جودة، بشأن التناول الإعلامي في برامجهم ومداخلاتهم المذاعة بتاريخ 22 يوليو الجاري على قناة «النهار» لقرار النقابة الأخير بحق الفنان راغب علامة.
وصدر القرار بناء على توصية لجنة الشكاوى برئاسة وكيل المجلس الإعلامي عصام الأمير، وذلك بعد مراجعة دقيقة للمحتوى المعروض حيث تبين خلوه من أية مخالفات مهنية أو تجاوزات إعلامية.
وأكد المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام الالتزام الثابت بحماية حرية الرأي والتعبير، في إطار من المسؤولية والمهنية، في ضوء ضوابط العمل الإعلامي وأخلاقياته.
وأعلنت نقابة المهن الموسيقية في وقت سابق اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضد الناقد الفني طارق الشناوي، وذلك على خلفية تصريحاته الأخيرة التي أدلى بها خلال ظهوره في برنامج «الستات» عبر قناة النهار، التي وصف فيها قرارات النقابة بشأن الفنان راغب علامة بأنها «عشوائية وتفتقر إلى الدراسة والمنطق».
وأكد المستشار القانوني للنقابة المحامي أحمد مهنا أن الشناوي تجاوز حدود النقد المهني المشروع، واستخدم عبارات مسيئة وتهكمية بحق نقيب الموسيقيين وأعضاء مجلس النقابة، مشيراً إلى أن هذه التصريحات ترتقي إلى مستوى التشهير والسب العلني، وهو ما يعد جريمة وفقاً لأحكام قانون العقوبات المصري وقانون تنظيم الاتصالات.
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation, chaired by Engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, decided to dismiss the complaint submitted by the Musicians' Syndicate against the art critic and journalist Tarek El Shenawy, program presenter Khaled Abu Bakr, and media figures Mufida Sheha and Suhair Gouda, regarding their media coverage in their programs and interventions broadcast on July 22 on the "Al-Nahar" channel concerning the Syndicate's recent decision regarding the artist Ragheb Alama.
The decision was issued based on the recommendation of the Complaints Committee, chaired by the Council's Media Agent Issam Al-Amir, after a thorough review of the presented content, which was found to be free of any professional violations or media transgressions.
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation affirmed its steadfast commitment to protecting freedom of opinion and expression, within a framework of responsibility and professionalism, in light of the regulations and ethics of media work.
The Musicians' Syndicate announced earlier that it would take legal action against art critic Tarek El Shenawy, following his recent statements made during his appearance on the "Al-Sittat" program on the Al-Nahar channel, in which he described the Syndicate's decisions regarding the artist Ragheb Alama as "random and lacking study and logic."
The legal advisor to the Syndicate, lawyer Ahmed Mahna, confirmed that El Shenawy exceeded the limits of legitimate professional criticism and used offensive and sarcastic language against the Syndicate's head and its council members, indicating that these statements rise to the level of defamation and public insult, which constitutes a crime under the provisions of the Egyptian Penal Code and the Telecommunications Regulation Law.
