أعلنت إدارة مهرجان الإسكندرية السينمائي لدول البحر المتوسط، برئاسة الناقد السينمائي الأمير أباظة، اختيار الفنانة المصرية الكبيرة ليلى علوي لتكون نجمة الدورة 41، المقرر انطلاق فعالياتها خلال الفترة من 2 إلى 6 أكتوبر 2025 بمدينة الإسكندرية.
ومن المقرر تكريم ليلى ضمن الدورة 41 لمهرجان الإسكندرية السينمائي لدول البحر المتوسط تقديراً لمسيرتها الفنية الطويلة، التي تعد واحدة من أبرز وأهم العلامات في تاريخ السينما المصرية والعربية.
استطاعت ليلى علوي أن تترك بصمة مميزة عبر أدوار متنوعة بين الكلاسيكي والاجتماعي والرومانسي والكوميدي، وقدمت عبر مشوارها أعمالاً أصبحت علامات بارزة في ذاكرة الفن المصري.
وقدمت ليلى علوي مجموعة من الأفلام المهمة، أبرزها المصير والمواطن مصري مع المخرج العالمي يوسف شاهين، وفيلم إسكندرية كمان وكمان، ويا دنيا يا غرامي، وحب البنات، وألوان السما السبعة، وغيرها.
تميزت ليلى في الدراما التليفزيونية بأعمال خالدة مثل «الجدران الدافئة، بنات الأصول، ألف ليلة وليلة، العائلة، التوأم، حديث الصباح والمساء، تعالى نحلم ببكرة، بنت من شبرا، لحظات حرجة، حكايات وبنعيشها، الشوارع الخلفية، نابليون والمحروسة، فرح ليلى شمس، هي ودافنشي، زي القمر، منورة بأهلها، دنيا تانية»، والعديد من الأعمال الاجتماعية والإنسانية.
وتشهد الدورة 41 من المهرجان احتفالية كبرى بتكريم النجمة ليلى علوي، حيث يتم إصدار كتاب خاص عن مشوارها الفني وعرض مجموعة من أبرز أفلامها وتنظيم ندوة مفتوحة بحضورها لمناقشة تجربتها ومسيرتها أمام جمهور ومحبي السينما.
The Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries, chaired by film critic Amir Abaza, announced the selection of the great Egyptian artist Laila Elwi as the star of its 41st edition, which is set to take place from October 2 to 6, 2025, in the city of Alexandria.
Laila will be honored during the 41st edition of the Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries in recognition of her long artistic career, which is considered one of the most prominent and significant milestones in the history of Egyptian and Arab cinema.
Laila Elwi has managed to leave a distinctive mark through diverse roles ranging from classic to social, romantic, and comedic, and throughout her career, she has presented works that have become significant landmarks in the memory of Egyptian art.
She has presented a number of important films, most notably "Al-Maseer" and "Citizen Egyptian" with the renowned director Youssef Chahine, as well as "Alexandria... Again and Again," "Ya Donia Ya Gharami," "Love of Girls," "The Seven Colors of the Sky," and others.
Laila has distinguished herself in television drama with timeless works such as "The Warm Walls," "Daughters of Origins," "A Thousand and One Nights," "The Family," "The Twins," "Morning and Evening Talk," "Let's Dream of Tomorrow," "A Girl from Shubra," "Critical Moments," "Stories We Live," "The Back Streets," "Napoleon and the Protected," "Laila's Wedding," "Her and Da Vinci," "Like the Moon," "Illuminated by Its People," "Another World," and many social and humanitarian works.
The 41st edition of the festival will witness a grand celebration honoring star Laila Elwi, where a special book about her artistic journey will be published, a selection of her most notable films will be screened, and an open seminar will be organized in her presence to discuss her experience and career in front of an audience of cinema lovers.
