نفى إياد النقيب، مدير أعمال الفنان اللبناني فضل شاكر، في تصريحات خاصة لـ«عكاظ»، ما تم تداوله أخيرا حول إقامة فضل شاكر حفلا غنائيا في قطر يوم 11 يوليو القادم، مؤكدا أن تلك الأنباء عارية تماما من الصحة.
وأوضح النقيب أن الفنان لم يوقّع على أي تعاقدات لحفلات في الوقت الراهن، مشيرا إلى أن تركيزه منصب حاليا على التحضير لمجموعة جديدة من الأغاني، سيتعاون فيها مع شعراء وملحنين من عدة دول عربية.
وكانت بعض الحسابات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي قد نشرت بوسترات مزورة لحفل مزعوم لفضل شاكر في الدوحة، زاعمة عودته رسميا إلى خشبة المسرح بعد سنوات من الغياب على خلفية أزماته القضائية.
وفي سياق آخر، أبدى فضل شاكر دعمه الكامل للفنانة المصرية شيرين عبدالوهاب، بعد الانتقادات التي طالتها من بعض جمهور مهرجان موازين في المغرب، بسبب أدائها الضعيف واعتمادها على تقنية «البلاي باك» خلال الحفل.
ونشر شاكر صورة قديمة تجمعه بشيرين على حسابه الرسمي في «إنستغرام»، وكتب: «شيرين، كلنا بنحبك، وكلنا حدك، وما رح نتركك».
ووجّه رسالة مؤثرة إلى الجمهور المغربي، قال فيها: «جمهور المغرب العريق والذوّاق.. شيرين بنتكم، واعذروها على التقصير بسبب الظروف الصحية والنفسية اللي بتمر فيها.. أنتم أهل الكرم والفن والدعم».
Eiad Al-Naqeeb, the manager of Lebanese artist Fadl Shaker, denied in exclusive statements to "Okaz" the recent rumors about Fadl Shaker holding a concert in Qatar on July 11, confirming that such news is completely unfounded.
Al-Naqeeb explained that the artist has not signed any contracts for concerts at the moment, noting that his focus is currently on preparing a new collection of songs, in which he will collaborate with poets and composers from several Arab countries.
Some accounts on social media had published fake posters for an alleged concert for Fadl Shaker in Doha, claiming his official return to the stage after years of absence due to his legal troubles.
In another context, Fadl Shaker expressed his full support for the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, following the criticism she received from some of the audience at the Mawazine Festival in Morocco due to her weak performance and reliance on "playback" technology during the concert.
Shaker posted an old picture of himself with Sherine on his official Instagram account, writing: "Sherine, we all love you, and we are all with you, and we will not leave you."
He sent an emotional message to the Moroccan audience, saying: "To the esteemed and discerning audience of Morocco.. Sherine is your daughter, and please excuse her for any shortcomings due to the health and psychological circumstances she is going through.. You are the people of generosity, art, and support."
