أكد محامي الفنانة المصرية شيرين عبدالوهاب ياسر قنطوش اتخاذ إجراءات قانونية ضد من وصفهم بـ«المسيئين» لشيرين.
وأوضح قنطوش أن شيرين تتعرض لحملة منظمة تسعى للنيل من نجاحها والتقليل من أي إنجاز تحققه بعد مشاركتها في الدورة العشرين من مهرجان موازين بالمغرب.
وأضاف في بيان أصدره أن هذه الحملة «معروفة المصدر والدوافع»، على حد تعبيره، وشيرين توجه الشكر لكل من وقف إلى جانبها ودعمها خلال الفترة الأخيرة، مؤكداً احترامها الكامل لحرية الرأي طالما لم تتضمن إساءة أو تجريحاً.
وأشار إلى أن بعض الآراء التي انتشرت أخيراً عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي «ليست بريئة»، بل تم تمويلها ضمن ما وصفه بحملات إلكترونية تهدف للإساءة المتعمدة، مشدداً على أنه سيتم اللجوء إلى المسار القانوني لمحاسبة المتجاوزين.
وأحيت الفنانة شيرين عبدالوهاب حفل ختام مهرجان موازين الدولي بعد غياب دام 9 سنوات عن إحياء الحفلات في المغرب، إلا أن الحفل شهد حالة من الجدل بعد اعتمادها في بدايته على تقنية «البلاي باك»، ما أثار استياء الجمهور، الذي طالبها بالغناء المباشر، وهو ما استجابت له لاحقاً خلال الحفل، واستكملت الفقرة الغنائية بصوتها الحي.
The lawyer of the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, Yasser Qantouch, confirmed that legal actions are being taken against those he described as "abusers" of Sherine.
Qantouch explained that Sherine is facing an organized campaign aimed at undermining her success and belittling any achievement she makes following her participation in the twentieth edition of the Mawazine Festival in Morocco.
He added in a statement he issued that this campaign is "well-known in its source and motives," as he put it, and Sherine expresses her gratitude to everyone who stood by her and supported her during the recent period, affirming her full respect for freedom of opinion as long as it does not include abuse or defamation.
He pointed out that some opinions that have recently spread through social media "are not innocent," but rather funded as part of what he described as electronic campaigns aimed at deliberate defamation, emphasizing that legal action will be taken against the violators.
Sherine Abdel Wahab performed at the closing ceremony of the Mawazine International Festival after a 9-year absence from performing in Morocco. However, the concert witnessed some controversy after she initially relied on "playback" technology, which displeased the audience, who demanded that she sing live. She later responded to this during the concert and continued the musical segment with her live voice.
