روى المؤلف المصري محمود حمدان، الذي يعد مسلسل «فهد البطل» آخر أعماله، موقفاً هاجم فيه الفنان المصري أحمد آدم، حدث في بداية مشواره الفني، مشيراً إلى أنه لن يتعاون معه في حياته، واصفاً إياه بأنه فنان مغرور.
وكشف حمدان، في منشور عبر حسابه على «فيسبوك» أن الموقف يعود لعام 2007، حين وقع عليه وزملائه في أكاديمية الفنون اختيار المخرج الدكتور جلال الشرقاوي للمشاركة في مسرحية من بطولة أحمد آدم، وذلك في بدايات مشوارهم الفني.
وأوضح أنه خلال بروفة جنرال قبل العرض بيوم واحد، وأثناء تقديمه لدوره، أثار ضحك بعض الحاضرين في الصالة، إلا أن رد فعل أحمد آدم كان قاسياً للغاية، حيث أوقف البروفة ووجه إليه انتقادات حادة أمام الجميع على حد قوله.
وتابع حمدان: «وقّف البروفة وقدام كل الناس سمعني أسوأ كلام يقوله فنان محترف لشاب لسه بيشق طريقه، أنت هتاخد فرصتك بس مش معايا مع حد تاني، تقف مكانك متتكلمش، مش هتشتغل يلا امشي، خرجت من المسرح والدموع مكتومة جوايا».
وأشار حمدان إلى أن عدداً من أصدقائه في الوسط الفني منهم مصطفى أبو سريع وحسني شتا وإبراهيم السمان ومحمد العمروسي، حاولوا مواساته بعد الموقف الذي تعرض له، معلقاً: «رجعت البيت وصليت وأنا منهار من البكاء ودعيت على أحمد آدم».
واختتم حمدان حديثه أنه بعد 5 سنوات، طلب منه أحد المنتجين كتابة فيلم لأحمد آدم، لكنه رفض قائلاً:«حتى لو دفعت لي 100 مليون، مش هكتب له».
The Egyptian author Mahmoud Hamdan, who considers the series "Fahd the Hero" to be his last work, recounted an incident where he was attacked by the Egyptian artist Ahmed Adam, which occurred at the beginning of his artistic career, noting that he would never collaborate with him in his life, describing him as an arrogant artist.
Hamdan revealed, in a post on his "Facebook" account, that the incident dates back to 2007, when he and his colleagues at the Academy of Arts were selected by director Dr. Galal El Sharkawy to participate in a play starring Ahmed Adam, during the early days of their artistic journey.
He explained that during a general rehearsal one day before the performance, while he was presenting his role, he caused laughter among some attendees in the hall, but Ahmed Adam's reaction was extremely harsh, as he stopped the rehearsal and directed severe criticism at him in front of everyone, according to his account.
Hamdan continued: "He stopped the rehearsal and in front of everyone, I heard the worst words a professional artist could say to a young man who is just starting his path, 'You will get your chance, but not with me, with someone else. Stay in your place, don’t speak, you won’t work, just leave.' I left the theater with tears choked inside me."
Hamdan pointed out that several of his friends in the artistic community, including Mostafa Abu Sari, Hosni Shata, Ibrahim El Samman, and Mohamed El Amrousi, tried to console him after the incident he experienced, commenting: "I returned home and prayed while I was devastated from crying and I cursed Ahmed Adam."
Hamdan concluded his talk by stating that five years later, a producer asked him to write a film for Ahmed Adam, but he refused, saying: "Even if you pay me 100 million, I won't write for him."
