أعرب الفنان الكندي من أصل مصري مينا مسعود، عن بالغ سعادته بتقديمه أول فيلم مصري من بطولته «في عز الظهر»، المقرر عرضه 18 يونيو الجاري بالسينمات.
وأكد مينا مسعود في بيان صحفي، أنه متحمس للغاية لعرض الفيلم الذي سيكون عودة لجذوره وإلى وطنه مصر، مشيراً إلى أنه يعتبر هذا المشروع ليس مجرد فيلم، بل تجربة سينمائية تمزج بين الأكشن والتشويق مع عمق درامي.
وأوضح مينا مسعود أن الفيلم يُسلط الضوء على الهوية والانتماء، وسيُقدم للجمهور المصري والعربي بمعايير إنتاجية عالمية، ويعكس رحلة شخصية للصراعات التي يمكن أن يمر بها أي شخص في ظل الظروف الصعبة، خصوصاً حين يتعلق الأمر بالهوية والانتماء.
وأضاف مسعود أن قصة العمل جذبته منذ البداية لعدة أسباب، أولها أن بيته وبين الدور الذي سيقوم بتجسيده صفات مشتركة كثيرة رغم أن المسارات مختلفة، معلقاً: «ما يجمعنا هو أني هاجرت من صغري من مصر، وأشعر دائماً بالرغبة للعودة لجذوري».
الفيلم من إخراج مرقس عادل وتأليف كريم سرور، ويشارك في بطولته مجموعة مميزة من النجوم المصريين والعرب، من بينهم إيمان العاصي، شيرين رضا، جميلة عوض، بيومي فؤاد، محمود البزاوي، ساندرا ديفا، محمود حجازي، محمد علي رزق، محمد عز، أحمد جمال سعيد، أحمد علي، إضافة إلى مجموعة مميزة من ضيوف الشرف.
يُعرض فيلم «في عز الظهر» في السينمات 18 يونيو 2025، وسيتم عرضه في دور السينما في مصر ودول الخليج السعودية والإمارات وقطر والبحرين وعمان ولبنان و الأردن وسورية والعراق إلى جانب أمريكا الشمالية وكندا.
ويُعد الفيلم من أضخم الإنتاجات السينمائية المصرية، وتم تصويره في عدة مواقع داخل مصر وفي عدد من الدول الأوروبية، ليضفي على الفيلم طابعاً بصرياً عالمياً يعكس أجواء الجريمة والتشويق التي تدور حولها أحداثه.
The Canadian artist of Egyptian origin, Mena Massoud, expressed his immense happiness at presenting his first Egyptian film, "Fi Izz Al-Dahr," which is scheduled to be released on June 18th in cinemas.
Mena Massoud confirmed in a press statement that he is extremely excited about the film's release, which he sees as a return to his roots and to his homeland, Egypt. He pointed out that he considers this project not just a film, but a cinematic experience that blends action and suspense with dramatic depth.
Mena Massoud explained that the film highlights identity and belonging, and it will be presented to the Egyptian and Arab audiences with world-class production standards. It reflects a personal journey of the struggles that anyone can go through in difficult circumstances, especially when it comes to identity and belonging.
Massoud added that the story attracted him from the very beginning for several reasons, the first being that he shares many common traits with the character he will portray, despite their different paths. He commented: "What connects us is that I emigrated from Egypt at a young age, and I always feel the desire to return to my roots."
The film is directed by Marcus Adel and written by Karim Sarour, featuring a distinguished cast of Egyptian and Arab stars, including Iman Al-Assi, Sherine Reda, Jamila Awad, Bayoumi Fouad, Mahmoud Al-Bazawi, Sandra Deva, Mahmoud Hegazi, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Mohamed Ezz, Ahmed Gamal Saeed, Ahmed Ali, in addition to a distinguished group of guest stars.
The film "Fi Izz Al-Dahr" will be released in cinemas on June 18, 2025, and will be shown in theaters in Egypt and Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq, as well as in North America and Canada.
The film is considered one of the largest cinematic productions in Egypt, and it was filmed in several locations within Egypt and in a number of European countries, giving the film a global visual style that reflects the atmosphere of crime and suspense that surrounds its events.
